27 weeks and barely any movement

Hello, I'm looking for some advice - I'm 27 weeks pregnant and can't feel much movement, (no kicks just gentle movement sometimes in the evening that I can only feel while sitting still) I haven't had an appointment with the hospital since my 20 week scan so I'm feeling pretty anxious. Maybe this pregnancy is just different from my first? I'm hoping I wouldn't be a nuisance if I were to call to the hospital tomorrow to get checked to put my mind at ease, would they take the time to monitor the baby if I explained my concerns?

Is there a 24 hour phone number on your notes anywhere? I'd give them a ring tonight if you can. It's always best to get checked and never, never consider yourself a nuisance. They're there to help you. Good luck

Put your mind at rest and go to the hospital, it could just be your placenta is this time round making it harder to feel or where baby choices to be positioned.

Definitely go and get checked

Definitely go and be checked. However in my second pregnancy I couldn't feel much as dc was effectively cushioned by the placenta. I was so relieved when the scan showed her bobbing about while I felt nothing!

I was the same at 27 weeks, barely had any movement at all up to that point and was getting worried. Im 31 weeks now and the baby has been moving loads the last 2 weeks. Its like he/she has suddenly woken up.

Definitely get checked out though if only to ease your mind.
