Anyone else 4 weeks pregnant?

I was four weeks pregnant on Wednesday, confirmed my blood test that day. All being well, I'm due on 4/4/19. I really hope to have an easier pregnancy this time as I have a very boisterous toddler now.

Anyone else got their happy news this week?

I'm not naive to think it's too early and stuff could go wrong but he's such a big part of my life and could go whenever. Just scares me.

fanks · 29/07/2018 14:54

Tell him, the first person I told when pregnant with my DD2 was my dad who was dying, so glad I did 😘

Delilah7 · 29/07/2018 15:07

@fanks how early were you? X

Bethaniee · 29/07/2018 16:25

I'm due around 29th March if my calculations are correct!

minniecat2406 · 29/07/2018 16:50

Hi @Delilah7 congratulations! I recognise you from the Conception thread. I'm due 29 March! X

Delilah7 · 29/07/2018 17:32

Hi @Kelsoid and @BeeKeeping from smep! And hi everyone else!
I'm due about 27th March so just over 5 weeks pregnant. Going to try and have an early scan on Wednesday at EPU as have been having some pain low on one side - sure it's all in my head! But will be nice to know! Had a v early miscarriage month before last so am super nervous! Just been away at a wedding all weekend but think I got away with no drinking! I am being a bit lax on food however second time round (have a 1.5yr ds!) as there was lots of cheese at he wedding I had no idea if it was pasteurised! But managed to avoid the delicious looking Parma ham!

Apart from a few pains I have zero symptoms at all - longing for a bit of morning sickness! Going to contact the hospital to refer after 7 weeks I think - bit paranoid beforehand.

fanks · 29/07/2018 19:48

@Delilah7 I was about 7 weeks just found out.

BeeKeeping · 29/07/2018 22:06

Hi @firsttimer16 so lovely to see familiar names 🤗

Delilah7 · 31/07/2018 18:35

Guys. I just had half a mug of Lilt and I feel awful. I've cut out everything else - my main bad things ( chocolate cookies ice cream and crisps! ) and fizzy drinks but had a little bit. Now feel awful for doing it!!

BeeKeeping · 01/08/2018 15:18

I REALLY wouldn’t worry @Delilah7 the wee bean doesn’t get anything from you until the placenta is formed, and even after that it is fine to have treats - - and double as you’re eating for two - - as long as you stick to a general healthyish diet 🐝x

Delilah7 · 01/08/2018 16:38

Unfortunately I'm miscarrying. X

BeeKeeping · 01/08/2018 18:02

Oh I’m so sorry @Delilah7 really hope that’s not what’s going on. I’ve read that if it’s just bleeding without cramping it’s often okay. Get yourself to your local hospital for an early scan. Thinking of you x

Delilah7 · 01/08/2018 18:09

I have. That's why I've said I'm miscarrying they've told me I am :( x

BeeKeeping · 01/08/2018 19:17

So sorry. Look after yourself xx

Dalesgirl16 · 01/08/2018 20:26

Very sorry to hear this Delilah :( Take care of yourself. X

Thank you zzz

Firsttimer16 · 01/08/2018 21:56

So sorry @Delilah7 - what sad news. The same happened to me 2 months ago - and I got pregnant again this month - I've read you're extra fertile after miscarriage due to the hormones. Not sure how much truth there is in that, but it made me feel better!

I went for an early scan today and all looking ok - but I thought I was 6 weeks based on lmp but she's put me back to 5w 2 on size, which on reflection does make sense as my cycles are about 33 days (not the 28 they assume). But was annoyed to lose 5 days during this time when every day feels like a massive achievement! 🤣 has to reset my apps back!

How is everyone feeling? I've started to get very sleepy - middle of the day I'm really struggling to keep my eyes open!

Delilah7 · 01/08/2018 22:00

@Firsttimer16 glad everything's going well for you this time round. It's hard as it's not just my decision to try again. OH seems obviously very taken a back by whys happened bless him x

minniecat2406 · 02/08/2018 20:41

Thinking of you @Delilah7 xx

Cas90 · 02/08/2018 20:55

Hi all my due date GP thinks is 30/03/18 I am so excited but so worried. My sister went to her 12 week scan a few years ago and there was no heartbeat, just dreading the same thing happening to me x

fanks · 03/08/2018 09:44

I'm sorry to hear that @Delilah7
Look after yourself it's not nice.

Kelsoid · 03/08/2018 12:21

Oh @Delilah7 I'm so sorry to hear that. It's gotta be so hard on both of you right now...good news is miscarriages are far more common than anyone likes to believe, and you have a great support network through here. Keep on trucking through :)

I had an early scan this morning as I was experiencing a bit of spotting last week accompanied by pain on my left side. I've had an ectopic before and they just wanted to make sure everything was okay! Good news is everything is where it should be :) they couldn't see a yolk sac yet...only a gestational sac...but assuming that's normal for 5 weeks. Feeling happy 😁😁😁😁

Delilah7 · 03/08/2018 13:30

Thanks ladies.

@Kelsoid glad everything's ok! Xx
