Ok yesterday doctor said think see faint positive. Feel my belly it's ok. Folic acid 6 weeks and dated me 6 weeks if I am pregnant. Got to test again Sunday then go in Monday for appointment. Had to drop off urine sample to test for infection. 30 may first day of last period and start sex practically every day give or take a couple from 17:18 June. Didn't start on 1 July. What do you think. Am I pregnant? Boobs quite itchy today

At five and a half weeks pregnant??? Ok... Whatever you want to believe!!

SoyDora · 19/07/2018 16:44

Well yeah, if she ovulated 2 weeks later than normal then she wouldn’t show on a test for a few more days. Unlikely but possible. Fact is that until your period comes you could be pregnant.

SoyDora · 19/07/2018 16:47

If she ovulated 2 weeks later than normal, she wouldn’t be 5.5 weeks pregnant, would she?

physicskate · 19/07/2018 17:02

But in another thread she is insisting she does not ovulate late... because she hasn't ever done so in 15 years.

WhirlingTurkey · 19/07/2018 18:24

It's a shame @Shannx has hijacked the OPs thread. Never understand why some posters feel the need to do that!

Pepper123123 · 19/07/2018 18:28

Pregnancy tests can cost less than £1 for three. They're no different to what a doctor uses.

It's not that you're not allowed to do a test. Your body is your own. If only doctors were allowed to do tests then sooooo many women wouldn't find out they were pregnant until they started to show.

I got a negative test a day before AF was due, then a positive three days later.
The pregnancy hormone increases rapidly in early pregnancy, so it's worth testing at home.

Shannx · 19/07/2018 20:32

I didn't mean to hijack the post. I was using the net and created new post.. i didn't realise it would be in this thread. Once i realised (downloaded the app) i removed my post from this thread.

Hi Kirsty, did you find out if you are pregnant? X

1stTimeMumofOne · 05/08/2018 04:55

Wow. Some comments aimed at the OP are disgusting. All new mums, expecting ladies, and ladies trying to conceive should be spoken to and treated with understanding and dignity. No matter their age, the pregnancy journey will be new to all who need to take a test. It can be a scary journey, worrying, confusing and exciting all at the same time and reassurance and support is key. OP please dont apologise for asking for advise. No ladies cannot give you factual scientific information but they can give opinions. It must of been hard to be told to wait a week to find out as i know you just want to know straight away and find any clues that give you an answer. You did the right thing going to the doctors and it is up to you until you wait to next see them or take other tests in the meantime. I in the past had an inconclusive result from the doctor and i spend days googling it and looking for any other symptoms. But time will tell and i hope you get the result you want 😊 and dont hold back asking for help or if you have questions as women should be sticking together and understanding

SpecialBond · 05/08/2018 06:16

1stTimeMum - time should have told already given the date of the OP.

1stTimeMumofOne · 09/08/2018 23:47

I think you have missed the whole point of my post. If she has her answer or not, those who commented patronising comments need to understand how hurtful and damaging that can be.
