Rucksack style changing bag?

I fancy one of these as I'm planning on using a sling lots. But nobody seems to discuss them. Did anybody use a rucksack-style changing bag? Was it any good? And can you recommend one? Thank you!

When I had my first I had a traditional style changing bag. Was an absolute pain in the arse and just got in the way. With number 2 I just brought a nice rucksack. Works fine, no need for anything specialist.

I've just ordered one off amazon on prime day. I'm currently 37weeks so haven't used it yet but it seems much more practical than a traditional changing bag. I'll let you know when it gets here and I've tried it out Smile

I got one for this baby. I haven't used it yet, just packed it for hospital. So far I way prefer it. So much more space and easier to carry. I was going to get a nice back pack and a divider l, but fell in love with this bag.

I've ordered one from Amazon in their prime day deal. I had a traditional one last time, which I still have and will probably interchange the ones I use. Having a toddler, I figured it would be handy to be hands free at times.

I have just bought mine and its a rucksack style one.

Its bloody gorgeous - search for the "Skip Hop changing backpack"...

They do different colours! xx

Depending on your budget, Kerikit bags do the most BEAUTIFUL leather changing rucksacks, guaranteed to keep using afterwards so cost per ‘wear’ could actually be pretty good!

I’ve just ordered the skiphop rucksack as a friend recommended it (my baby not here yet). Think it makes sense as otherwise bag slipping off shoulder all the time, plus it clips onto buggy

Tiba & marl!

ptwmummyof2 · 17/07/2018 13:42

Mia Tui backpacks are pretty good too

bookmum08 · 17/07/2018 13:46

Just buy a regular backpack. Loads of sensible priced ones in Sports Direct.

BrightBushyBee · 17/07/2018 13:48

Ooh skip hop looks about right. Wish I hadn't looked at Kerikit - they're lovely but ££££

I had a packapod blue and white striped one that I loved. I still use it as a rucksack now actually!

cantthinkattheminute · 17/07/2018 13:52

I have a pacapod one that that's grab handles and can be worn as a backpack or on one shoulder by adapting the straps. I love it. Find it's great with slings as I can wear it as a backpack or on one shoulder when using a ring sling. Really love the lily jade bags but the6 are out of my budget. Fawn design also have nice changing bags too.

Sammilouwho · 17/07/2018 13:54

I just have a Cath Kidston backpack but I would say definitely choose a backpack over a traditional changing bag

nightwispa · 17/07/2018 14:22

I'm going for a Kanken classic that matches my pushchair- cheap, cheerful, roomy and practical. Win win.

lemonnmeringuepie · 17/07/2018 14:24

I had a classic style changing bag at first and it was such a faff! Typed 'changing backpack' onto eBay and got a brilliant one for around £20. I would always go for a backpack rather than the usual now!
