Sleepyhead

Can anyone recommend using a sleepyhead for downstairs sleeping? Are they worth the money or is it easier to pop the baby to sleep in the carrycot?

I bought one and found it brilliant. Was able to put baby in it and carry him (not official supposed to) to bed with me. I used the Chico next2me and it fits perfectly into that.

I loved the sleepyhead! We used it all the time- on the sofa (until she could roll obviously!), on the floor, in the next2me cot and eventually in her big cot until she got used to sleeping in there.

I was sceptical at first but persuaded by my friends and would 100% recommend it!

We got a purflo (cheap version of sleepyhead). DD slept like a dream in it

I had a sleepyhead for inside the cot but never used it downstairs, just didn't think about it really. We used a blanket on the floor to start with and then the tiny-love rocker/napper which I highly recommend, rock it with your foot when you're eating and then you can lay it flat when they fall asleep.

To be honest I wouldn't (and didn't) buy the sleepyhead until absolutely necessary as it's expensive. You can get it delivered pretty quickly if you find you want one.
