Anyone got a Graco Quattro Travel System?

Thinking about buying one of these but there's only one little thing that's putting me off and that's that it doesn't mention adjustable height handlebars. Does anyone know if they ARE adjustable?

Thanx!

I have one from three years ago, so don't know if they have changed the design, but the handle bars on mine are NOT adjustable.

Hmmm didn't think they were from the one i looked at in Toys R Us. However, the height did seem really comfortable, even for my DP so maybe it wont be an issue with us......

I have one and don't think they are, but is a comfortable height for me (5ft) and DH (5ft10)

Would you recommend them overall? I really like the look of it and considering it comes with car seat AND flat cot, i think it's brilliant for the price.

How easy is it to fold up/down?

Hi I have a Graco Mosaic System, not sure if it's the same but it has worn out in 10 months & is currently back at Graco as there is a fault with the wheels (tyres wear out in 5 weeks). We are not doing anything crazy with it just normal daily useage. The wheels are really plasticky and basically just rub against each other as the design is a bit rubbish. Plus points are ease of folding, cost & height (i am 5'4") negatives are the above & also no suspension (which I wish I had considered before buying). In hindsight I think I would not buy a travel system but instead a decent buggy that reclines flat & separate car seat. Maybe I am just experiencing pram envy now !!

Hi sparky. Sorry you've had trouble with yours!

The one i'm interested in does come with a car seat and a cot too so it's deffo value for money.

I'll deffo bear in mind what you've said about yours tho when i go to have a proper look at it in-store.

PS - are you a DJ too (i'm a hard dance DJ)?

I haven't used mine yet (37+6) but tried them out in babies R us and it seemed to provide everything I wanted - including a lie-flat bit, car seat & base, rain cover, etc. Getting it up and down is supposed to be a one-handed operation, but haven't had a chance to try that yet - must practice before baby comes! Perhaps my opinions may be different in a few months....

Brought one of these in 2004, used with my dd, loved it. Moved on to a maclaren in 2006 by which time dd mostly out of buggy, or sat up all the time.
SiL used it last year with nephew, also loved it.
Handlebars not adjustable, but 2004 model, might have changed for later models. I am 5'8", DH 6'3", SiL 5'6" all found height fine.
brill value for money. Loved the flat pram. Found it very easy to collapse, manoevre etc. Big wheels made suitable for most terrain....not on the beach though!

the handlebar isn't adjustable, but it is a comfortable height, but bear in mind that the system is VERY heavy to get in and out of a car- so although it looks like a bargain, also factor in the cost of a maclaren after a few months!

When my DS was young, we bought a little maclaren buggy for about £45. Surely they're not much more than that now are they?!

Seems like i will deffo get one of these tho - they do seem a real bargain!
