Hi everyone I'm 23+2 and the last couple of days I haven't noticed baby moving as much she's usually a strong kicker and wriggler but I'm only getting small nudges and every so often a little kick I had the midwife yesterday and the heartbeat was 128 but it's usually around 140 and that song with these movements being a bit different I'm a bit worried

It's quite common as baby still has lots of space to move and turn around. I had the same at just after 22 weeks and I was told not to expect regular kicks until 28 weeks. It is however worth getting a HCP to check that baby is OK and has just moved to a position you can't feel the kicks so well.

It probably is just that she's swivelled round and is kicking towards your back or into the placenta where you can't feel it as much. It will be a few more weeks before she runs out of space and settles into one position. Was your midwife concerned about the heart rate?

Yea I’ve had this with movement and it was ok. No advice about the heartbeat though. Hope all is ok. Flowers

If you feel worried, always get it checked out. No one will mind and it will put your mind at rest.

RedRanger · 13/07/2018 15:46

I agree with pp, probably just due to position. However, just to put your mind at rest go and get checked out again x

Thank you everyone and no @PirateWeasel the midwife said the heartbeat was perfect as she wasn't moving she was at rest xx
