Having to go to scan alone

Just ranting really. Its my 12 week scan tomorrow and our appointment is outside of school hours. the letter strictly states no children. As me and hubby dont have childcare we rang explaining this and got told there were no alternative appointments - ive been ringing regularly for short notice cancellations too. We had arranged some childcare but thats fallen through so now completely stuck. Think the only option now is to go on my own which is particularly rubbish as hubby really hasnt bonded with this pregnancy at all and he was hoping it would help being at the scan.

Shock congratulations OP! From my friend’s twin pregnancy experience you are now going to be having an awful lot of scans over the coming months! Hope it goes brilliantly well.

Just read this thread as was in a similar situation last time (I had a lot of scans though).

Congratulations!

Did you have any suspicions or signs it was twins or was it cometely unexpected?

Mandalaface · 21/07/2018 20:09

*completely

Hi Mandalaface I had been feeling very nauseous and exhausted, but I had a really difficult pregnancy first time round so didnt really think anything of it. I also had an early pregnancy scan and she told me "definitely only one" so very shocked!
