I've been living off of google for this subject so I'll join this post to see too!

Have a look at the nhs website. It’s very comprehensive.

You can eat the yogurt if it’s made with pasteurised milk.

Thank you, I keep looking on the website & then people tell me different, so scared I'm going to eat something I'm not meant to.
Thanks again

Ignore "people" and follow the NHS advice. It's based on up-to-date information and they stick very firmly on the side of caution.

What have people been telling you not to eat?

Bobbiepin · 10/07/2018 15:40

Yogurt in a shop should be pasteurized. In a restaurant ask, if they are unsure, personally I would avoid. Like PPs have said, the NHS website is the best place to look. Guidance has changed over the years so what other people did in their pregnancies 30 years ago should have no bearing on the choices you make.

Beehiveyourself · 10/07/2018 15:51

I was just like you OP. I lived on google and ignored everyone’s advice (except for medical people). Advice changes so it matters how old the advice giver is and where they’re from.

All the info on taramasalata is contradictory. Mega craving at the mo... any ideas?
