I'm just over 12 weeks with my first and I'm extremely excited! Ive waited a lot of years to get to this state so really looking forward to buying things.

When did you start and what was your first purchase?

After 20 week scan for token item and after 30 weeks for rest of stuff. Word of advice- Prams can take upwards of 10 weeks to arrive depending on where bought etc.

Mothercare are in trouble - don't take ANY finance plan with them unless you are chancing issues.

apart form that had the room ready for ages and everything washed out etc for awhile now and I'm second pregnancy.

I started buying before the 12 week scan last year and it ended in miscarriage so I was pretty devastated to return home and have to be faced with the clothes I’d bought.

This pregnancy I refused to buy a thing until after the first scan so it was at around 14 weeks I started buying things and obviously still had the stuff from last year.

Didn't buy anything until I was 30+ weeks then I kind of went on a mad dash to buy everything.

I waited until 30-35 weeks
