Just wondering if anyone knows my chances of success after seeing a heartbeat at 8+4.

I'm just looking for a little reassurance really

Am pretty sure that once you see hb at eight weeks, the chance of mc drops to something like 3-5% which, given that every pregnancy starts with a 20% chance, is pretty good ☺️

(That is what our sonographer told us anyway, please forgive if inaccurate)

I found this link interesting, and reassuring.

Yes, we were the same - fertility clinic did a scan around 8 weeks and we saw the heart beat. In between my first midwife appointment and our 12 week scan I was worried something had gone wrong so called the midwife who said if we've seen the heart beat at 8 weeks chances are everything's fine. He said the thing to worry about was pain and blood.
It's natural to worry xxxx

Very natural to worry. We went for an early scan at 5+5 as we found out 2-3 weeks pregnant. Felt like an eternity till 12 week scan. Our daughter is now just over 5 months. Hope you don’t worry to much and begin to enjoy.

I'm sure they told us that if you get to 8 weeks 97% of pregnancies continue and result in a healthy baby.

I am pretty sure at our scan at 5+5 we saw the heartbeat. The sonographer told us we were very lucky as it would only just have been visible. We definitely weren’t further than 6 weeks x
