Normal pains?

I am just over 5 weeks pregnant.

For the past three weeks I've had all sorts of different pains.
I get a stitch-like pain on either side of my pelvis if I do something strenuous. I'm not really worried about this one because I had it all through my last pregnancy.

I get a dull ache sometimes.

Other times I'll get a sharp stabbing pain that goes away very quickly.

The pains never last very long and they usually happen at night.

I'm trying not to think too much about them, but every time I feel some kind of pain I'm worried Something is going wrong.

I try to avoid googling symptoms because I'll convince myself of the worst if I do.

Do these pains sound normal?

@Milknosugar1
Glad to know at least one other person has experienced it.

I think some of our bodies like to keep us on our toes maybe 😄

yup very normal. im 18 weeks and i still get these. Think of all those muscles and organs moving around in there to accommodate the new arrival!

Makes me laugh when girls at work complain about period pains then say to me 'oh i bet you dont miss those pains do you! ;)' - and i say 'oh dont worry, i have cramps on a daily basis instead of monthly now. LOL'

They sound normal. I actually called the midwife over some pains last week that felt like a pulled muscle, obviously she said it's probably muscle pain! So many weird things happening in that area it's not surprising there's so many pains and niggles.

@AnonyMousee
Oh I'm totally with you there!
At least with period pains you know they'll be gone in a few days!

I'm sure every niggle and pain will be worth it though :)

@Nothisispatrick
That's true. I suppose when you think about the huge changes our bodies have to go through or prepare for it's no wonder it can be painful throughout.
