Yorkshire Pudding cravings!!! Anyone else??

So for 12 weeks I've not eaten very much or cooked very much.
I am rather famous for a great Yorkshire Pudding and for the last day or so it's all I've wanted. I can't stop thinking about them.
DP is away tonight so have taken it upon myself to make 15 MONSTER Yorkies. Nothing else just Yorkshire's. I know this is a less than ideal meal option but I don't want anything else.
Does or did anyone else have an insatiable Yorkshire Pudding craving???

Not particularly but now I just want some as you've mentioned it! Toad in the Hole, mmmm.

Baby obviously needs Yorkshires Wink

I am not pregnant and would happily sit down and eat a plate of Yorkshires. Some gravy would be an added bonus but would still be happy with plan. Any tricks or tips for cooking them?

When I was in the early stages of pregnancy with ds all I wanted was chips crisps stodge. Yorkshire puddings would have been the best!

orangejuicer · 19/06/2018 20:08

Not yorks on their own but add mash and gravy and I'm there!

MrsCrumbtious · 19/06/2018 20:22

@orangejuicer same! Obsessed with mash and gravy still!

ReggaetonLente · 19/06/2018 20:27

Oh god that sounds brilliant. I’m 32 weeks and tonight my craving has been orange chocolate. I reckon Yorkshires have more nutritional value!

I ate nine Yorkshire Puddings when I was pregnant with dd (14). At once, not throughout my pregnancy.

Anyway, we tell her she ate nine Y.P when she was a baby and she still, doesn’t know I actually ate them because she wanted them.

@purplecorkheart
4 eggs
225g of plain flour
350ml of milk

Mix together gently- don't worry if it's not perfectly smooth.
Let the batter rest for at least 2 hours.
Dribble of oil in Yorkie tray holes preheated for 15mins at 200C.
Add batter to tin and cook for approx 20 mins. It never fails me!!

I had some gravy with mine in the end tonight! It was like I was in Yorkshire Pudding dream land with a few left over for breakfast and snacks tomorrow!

Omg I ate them by the bag. You know the bags of 15 you get in tesco? That you heat for 7 minutes and then have a huge pile of deliciousness. I ate them so much when I had DD1! Literally for my tea id eat yorkshire puddings and a jug of gravy! I still love yorkshire puddings now. But surprising DD1 hates them lol.

I love Yorkshire Puddings. I crave them without being pregnant but I remember being about 10 weeks pregnant and in a small window of wanting to eat, craving Yorkshire Puddings and ice, so DH stopped over at a pub to get food in us quick. I ordered a roast dinner and it came without Yorkshire puddings and I sat there crying. Full on sobbing.
When they came to ask if everything was ok with the meal DH asked where it was and they said they only did them with the Sunday roast. They apologised, I apologised through tears and DH just sat there laughing at me!
