Got my BFP yesterday 😍 I believe I'm about 4/5 weeks.
But I'm nervous and feel so out of my depth
Although I'm good with other people babies and kids, and obviously I understand the basics, I'm looking for advice.
What would you mum's wish you'd have known first time around that would have made things easier?
From pregnancy, labour, birth and after?!

I'm 33 weeks, ftm, so can't offer advice on birth or babies but one thing I'd wish I'd known about pregnancy is that it's amazing and I was overjoyed to be pregnant but it's flipping tiring! And many ailments can be caused by pregnancy!!

Obviously every pregnancy is different, some people sail through and love pregnancy but I only mention this to say give yourself lots of rest, take any TLC you can and remember making a human is a job in itself :-)

Congratulations and good luck :-)

Aw12345 thank you and congrats to you too.
I felt very tired today but didn't know if I was just thinking I was feeling this way because I know I'm actually pregnant. Does that make sense.
Hope all goes well for you x

I’m only 14 weeks but one bit of advice is don’t go on Dr Google to look up symptoms! I spent weeks being an anxious wreck worrying that I was having a mc (silly I know!) as that seemed to be the answer for any question I had! It took the shine off those special first few weeks.
Congratulations, enjoy and try not to worry 😉

Try to relax and enjoy your pregnancy as much as you can. I know you'll be impatient for the baby, but seriously enjoy the quiet whilst you can.

Rest too

Pregnancy is so draining and I had no idea how bad it could be. It also plays havoc with your temperature so you could be boiling hot when everyone else is fine.

Definitely sleep whenever you can, you cannot indulge yourself in following pregnancies as much as your first.. so take every advantage!

Also, not everyone loves their baby on first sight, and that is ok. Took me months... and they were planned, wanted babies.

Lastly, that first poo after labour is The Scariest Thing EVER. But no one has ever actually had their insides fall out.
