When is morning sickness going to hit me?

Hi

So I am 5 weeks 4 days and although I’ve had a couple of moments of feeling sick, I’ve not had anything what I’d imagine morning sickness to be like.

In my head I expect it to hit me in the face on Wednesday as soon as i reach 6 weeks but I know it doesn’t work like that 🙈

When did you experience it?

I also never had morning sickness at all, in fact If I didn’t know I was pregnant I’d never have known til I started showing, no symptoms of anything at all! So you might be lucky!

First pregnancy 9 weeks to 28 were horrendous with constant nausea and random vomiting from all kinds of trigger smells. Last pregnancy next to nothing until 30 weeks (both girls Confused)

Hit me week 7 and got worse until.about week 10 when it stayed the same til around week 16 :(

mine started a few days after discovering I was pregnant (4-5 weeks) and continued until I was 12 weeks. vomited 3-4 times a day and felt sick, dizzy and faint with a constant headache. from 12 weeks up til now (34 weeks) been feeling great but tiredness is creeping back in now

I found out I was pregnant at 6weeks only because I was constantly vomiting & thought I best do a pregnancy test just incase! First trimester was horrendous with "morning" sickness, sick all day every day with no relief for weeks. Now at 16weeks I'm religiously sick every morning but at least during the day I can keep some food down. Do not wish for morning sickness, you may be one of the lucky ones!

I'm currently 16w with No. 3 and have never been sick. I've had the rare episode of feeling queasy but it's always gone away after sitting down or eating something. I didn't even know I was pregnant this time until 12 weeks!!!

I was very lucky in that I never had any particular problems in my first trimester. No sickness. I was more tired than usual and had sore boobs, other than that I was laughing. My poor sister on the other hand had bad morning sickness for both her pregnancies.

First time round, mine started 5+5. It hit like a bus. Had been feeling fine apart from two two-hour bouts of nausea between 6 and 8 am. Then that morning I wake up with the most horrendous sickness I've ever had. Had to wait to be sick in the morning, otherwise I didn't make the end of breakfast (even water was a no-go). Lasted until well over 20 weeks, though the throwing up subsided a little earlier.

This time, throwing up started first and then nausea developed and gently built up from the same point (5+5), but it's subsided now (15 weeks). Fingers crossed it stays that way.

I’m 14 weeks and not been sick yet touches wood so grateful to feel fine!

Wellthisunexpected · 18/06/2018 11:43

If you haven't got it by the end of your 8th week it's unlikely you'll get it.

MrsXx4 · 18/06/2018 11:45

You might not get it, I didn't have any morning sickness. I felt worse in the evenings and during the night, I have been physically sick about 4 times but felt nauseas quite a lot from about 8 weeks. I am 11 weeks now and felt rough all day yesterday but I am totally fine today! I don't think you can tell.
