Out of interest (in a bit of a discussion with employer atm), how long did you have to work for your employer to get additional maternity pay (not just statutory?).

Thanks in advance!

My work place is 12 months by the time your 26 weeks pregnant then it's full pay for 6 months then 3 months statutory only, still entitled to bonuses and also can't ale advantage of free healthcare system get a bonus from the for having a baby as well

I work for the NHS so you have to have 12 months continuous employment (up until a certain week before the baby is born) and go back to work for 3 months or so after they are born

12 months here

Teacher: for the maximum package you need a year’s continuous service plus at least 26 weeks with your current employer, and you must return to work for at least 13 weeks.
