Is 18 weeks too late...

...to start taking maternity photos? I'd quite like some shameless mirror selfies to document my growing bump! I've completely forgotten to do it and a bit bummed I missed out on proper photos right from the start. I don't plan on sharing them with anyone but would quite liked to have made a photo book as a keepsake... would you bother at 18 weeks with an already quite substantial bump?

Yes because you will get much bigger Smile

Definitely start now! You'll get more than double this size!

Yes, I’ve just started at 16 weeks with DC2. I started at 8 weeks with DC1 so already feel guilty BlushGrin

When I look back at previous weeks with DC1 it was from about 24 weeks onwards that I really started to change

Heydolly Grin
I still have a half empty baby book in the cupboard from second DS. He’s 9. First DS has a nicely complete one Blush

Definitely not too late to start, ever! From experience your bump changes so much in shape during the 2nd and 3rd trimesters. It's fun to track and I value the photos I took. Every Sunday evening, same time, same outfit. When my DD is old enough to understand I can't wait to share the photos with her.

I started at 17 weeks. Anything before that would've been a lie because it was all bloating.

Not at all 😊 Trust me you will start seeing weekly changes from now on, whereas at the start there's nothing much to see
