  • the need to pee every 15 minutes?
  • unbelievably sore nipples?
  • people commenting on how huge you are (and other comments)?
  • ridiculous mood swings and irritability?
  • impatience at having not felt movement at 20 weeks and worry about whether baby is ok?

These are my top worries/annoyances. Anyone any advice?

I am only nine weeks. Constantly hungry but also feel/am being sick, massive boobs, hormones up and down!! I am just taking each day as it comes

  • always know where the nearest toilet is and panty liners
  • be braless as much as possible and moisturise
  • threaten to sit on them or just tell them all to fuck off
  • see above
  • ah worrying about your baby is something you just have to get used to, it will never stop for the rest of your life now

- the need to pee every 15 minutes?
Weirdly I have actually found this much less of an issue after about 30 weeks+, but I don't think that is most women's experience. But in the meantime (and still now but to a lesser extent), not drinking much in the few hours before bed to limit nighttime toilet trips, making sure I always knew where toilets were when out and about, and just going when I needed to really, you just have to get on with it.

- unbelievably sore nipples?
I didn't have this problem outside of the first trimester so other than a well-fitting bra am unsure what to recommend. I have been fitted twice in this pregnancy so if you haven't already then this would be top of my list now.

- people commenting on how huge you are (and other comments)?
I have had the opposite - everyone says I'm tiny all the time! Just smile and say nothing most of the time and ignore them. Not much you can say/do, people are generally just trying to show interest even if it is annoying.

- ridiculous mood swings and irritability?
Haven't really had this other than being more tearful, I have a very understanding DH and there's not much else you can do about it!

- impatience at having not felt movement at 20 weeks and worry about whether baby is ok
If this is your first it's normal not to feel them until later so anywhere up to around 25 weeks so you don't need to worry yet. If you have an anterior placenta, or the baby is in a funny position, or you are significantly overweight you're also more likely to feel them later. If you're struggling with your worries please discuss these with your MW as that's part of what she is there for.

30 weeks. I would like to add constantly feeling like i’ve been kicked in the fanny, back sweat, and looking like I’ve eaten my entire family.
