Had anyone had any experiences with this pram? Thinking of getting the travel system but looking for honest opinions. Hoping our house goes through so we have somewhere to live so limited to money but looking for quality too

We had the Joie Chrome for my dd a few years ago. I loved it, easy to fold and huge basket. Also liked the fact that we could use the maxi cosi car seat attached before we needed the actual seat. Adaptor was included when we bought it. We've got the stroller version now so it feels bulky but for a pram it was brilliant

We have the Joie Litetrax 4. It's a good travel system for little babies, the one-handed fold is very handy and it free stands when folded, so good for our tiny house. We also got the Joie car seat and flat carrycot. If you're planning on walking a lot with a newborn the carrycot is worth it. We didn't really, mostly just clipped the car seat on and off the pram. Found the car seat a bit heavy to do that, but perfectly serviceable. We're still using the pram as a pushchair now and the car seat separately (DS is almost 1) and plan to continue doing so for about another year. Overall for the price I think it's really good. We had to buy the adapters separately (from mothercare, about £10) but considering we got the whole system for £240 (by buying each part separately and not being fussed about the colour) we weren't bothered!

@Hitsnooze @MujosMama thank you I think I'm going to go with one of the travel sets the icandy would have been lovely but too expensive especially for the little bits that aren't included

Have the joie chrome, great buggy, love the basket. I added a universal footmuff for colder months to make it more snug.

Only downside I found was the rain cover as it didn't have any elastic to attach it to buggy but tbh I rarely needed to use it & when I did, it was fine.

We had the joie chrome and loved it, the rain covers baffled me from day one but for the car seat we bought a generic one and for the buggy I imagine I fitted it completely wrong when dd was toddling (1) she completely refused the rain cover and had waterproofs on instead

So is the joie rain over not zipped or popper on? @Hitsnooze @MujosMama @Babney @Nicpem1982

It was a combo of velcro and good luck for me I didn't get it

I have the chrome, best decision I made!!

Babney · 05/06/2018 21:53

I got the joie chrome & had no velcro or poppers.

I would really recommend the buggy though if you could get a cheap universal rain cover if you don't find the joie one useful.

I had a chrome and it was fab however ds seemed quite big for it quite quickly. For reference he is 2 now and still in 12-18 month clothes!!

Lovely to push, easy to fold and huge basket. Id still recommend it.

Tbh I don't think I've ever used the rain cover! But looking at it, I think it just fits the shape of the buggy and doesn't fasten on
