What makes you think they wouldn't be?

OP I remember your username, you are the poster that asked about tinned custard a while ago and a few other things as well aren't you?

You really need to speak to your midwife about your anxiety around food.

As we said last time NHS list has everything you need to know, as long as you follow that you should be fine.

PinkHeart5914 · 03/06/2018 13:15

Yes absolutely fine!

Fedupxmum · 03/06/2018 13:18

As long as they are using pasteurized eggs then you will be fine. Shop bought potato salad and coleslaw are fine, I have been eating them all the way through this pregnancy (38 weeks this week) go ahead and enjoy em! x

Wellthisunexpected · 03/06/2018 14:23

Absolutely fine. There's very little you need to avoid.

HappyLollipop · 03/06/2018 14:27

There's not much you can't eat while pregnant but there's a list of do not eat foods on the NHS website (which pastabest has been kind enough to link you to) it's safe if it's not on that list.

Seeline · 03/06/2018 14:40

If it's home made mayo, probably avoid due to raw eggs, but shop- bought will have been pasteurised so fine.

BridgeFarmKefir · 03/06/2018 15:26

Homemade mayo will still be ok as long as the egg used are Lion stamped (which most - not all - are)

jamoncrumpets · 03/06/2018 15:55

I make, and eat, potato salad about twice a week. It's fine.

BiscayTrafalgarFitzroy · 03/06/2018 16:03

Untrue! Raw eggs are absolutely fine as long as they have the lion stamp.

All the food you can't eat is clearly stated on the NHS website.

To be fair to previous posters the NHS only recently changed their stance on eggs. I went to pre-booking appt info sharing session in March and the HCP taking that told us not to eat runny eggs. No wonder people get confused!
