I seem to have gone off all my favourite foods! Even chocolate is hard to get down !

What foods are you managing to stomach? I need some fresh ideas!

All i could stomach at the start was yoghurt and fruit, it's all I ate and then midway through my pregnancy I got my appetite back but was still off a lot of things. I'm now almost 38 weeks and I've lost all my appetite again. Everything is making me feel sick so much that I'm heaving and having to stop myself from puking. I'm living on bread/toast and salad sandwiches at the minute lol! But then it has to be crusty bread or nothing! I stocked up on those bake at home baguettes so I can cook it to how I want it. My hubby cooked one for me the other night and it was taken out too early for my liking and I got really moody haha. I'm just glad I don't have much longer to go!

cereal
marmite
fizzy drinks
orange juice
crisps as long as they are the right flavour
cheese sometimes

RosieCotton · 31/05/2018 14:45

Literally surviving on pea and ham soup and orange callipo ice lollies. I wish I could face something else but the smell of everything makes me sick :(

Bluebirdsky · 31/05/2018 14:56

Ice lollies was all that I could manage for a very long time. After that I started to manage some plain crackers or dry toast and then pasta with butter.

GlamBump · 31/05/2018 14:58

anything carby and pastry, sausage rolls, pasties!! mmm im dribbling now...

Rosti1981 · 31/05/2018 15:01

Jacket potato with cheese or tuna
Tomatoes
Greek yogurt, granola and fruit
Oddly Mexican food - kidney beans good, sour cream / cheese also good, tortilla chips good. Not mexican from a packet though - anything too salty makes me sick!
Fruit
V few veg unless diced v small and made into Mexican food.

SomebodysNotInBedYet · 31/05/2018 15:01

Cheese sandwiches on white bread. Think they were all I ate during week 7. Food is good again at 22 weeks!

Rosti1981 · 31/05/2018 15:01

Oh and in my first pregnancy dhal. Lentils/beans etc all seem good generally. Handy as I can't stand most meat.

lozengeoflove · 31/05/2018 17:29

If I see an apple I start vomiting.
Greek yoghurt, cheese, avocado and cheese pitta bread, bananas.

That's about it at the moment. I'm so fed up of vomiting and dry heaving. With DC1 I was sick for 26 weeks, with DC2 for 13 weeks. 12 weeks now and no sign of stopping. Argh! 😩😷

DrScully · 31/05/2018 19:29

I’m 16 weeks and still going through this!

Ham and cheese sandwiches on a baguette, leek and potato soup, brownies,
Occasionally fruit.

It’s so so so shit

sexnotgender · 31/05/2018 19:32

I usually eat loads of salad and roast chicken etc. Don’t really eat carbs!
Currently surviving on rich tea and toast.

pastabest · 31/05/2018 19:32

I'm due any day so well past the nausea stage now (although didn't thankfully get much this time) but with DC1 all I could face until about 14 weeks was granny smith apples cold from the fridge.

peachesarenom · 31/05/2018 23:40

At first cream crackers helped me, then cornflakes, then baked crisps, then crisps and dips, lukozade zero, any fizzy drink as water made me sick, now I'm onto cake and chocolate. I find sponge cake really helpful and doritos. I think I'm past the worst at 10 weeks but still feel vommy if I'm hungry xxx

AussieMum28 · 01/06/2018 12:11

Oh you all make me feel so much better! I'm currently in bed feeling like I'm dying!! I'm currently in a beige diet! White toast with butter and vegemite in the morning. I'm quite good with small packets of popcorn and Lidl salted cheese crackers. Basically anything with carbs! Hubby cooked spaghetti last night. I had to turn it into a toasted sandwich to be able to eat it!
My doctor said I need to eat more healthily but atm I'm just glad I'm eating something that will (sometimes) stay down!

twistedpink · 01/06/2018 12:25

I had no appetite until 30 weeks..... now 38 weeks and I can't stop eating... I will eat anything and everything 10x over!!! 😰

m4rdybum · 01/06/2018 16:00

I second the anything cold comment.

Crisps are good and I've been craving weetabix so I'm going to buy some this weekend. Sandwiches are good if they're bought but the thought of making and eating one makes me heave.

Cheese on toast with BBC sauce.

I cannot stand the thought of crumpets or mugshots though, and haven't had tea or coffee for a couple of weeks now Envy

m4rdybum · 01/06/2018 16:00

BBQ sauce, not BBC Grin

FASH84 · 01/06/2018 19:33

Pretty much anything other than trout or salmon which I usually love, I am liking tangy things though really strong cheddar, salad cream (retro I know) citrus fruit etc
