Which is better - Quinny Buzz or Bebeconfort Loola?

Going to buy the whole system - pushchair, carrycot and car seat. Both car seats are a good fit in the car but I can't decide between the two.

Can anyone with experiences of either help me make a decision?

Thanks

Not tried either but have considered them. Have tried very many pushchairs, buggies and prams and am in love with my bugaboo - worth every penny

Just looked at your profile. They are lovely girls.

Can't afford a Bugaboo, I'm afraid!

I think you have to view them as a loan - when you sell it on you recoup a lot of your money!!!!!

chocolatemousse · 18/05/2007 22:36

I think the air tyres really make a difference. That's what's swaying me to the Buzz as opposed to the Loola.

I will only go for it if we can get the older style though. The 2007 models seem to have a very small seat as well as being loud colours. Loola seat is much more substantial.

Anyone else used the Loola?

Dh liked the loola when it came out but dd was too old for me to spend the money.
Haven't you looked at any others.

The silver cross system is gorgeous and if I every manage to get pg again I would really like that one.

nearlythere · 19/05/2007 15:25

does it have to be one of these? have you looked at others?

Only asking as these two systems both have flaws
BUZZ- where do we start, wide wheelbase means general destruction, seat doesn't sit up when rearward, take seat off each time is a pita, quite large when folded, dangerous opening at exactly the moment you don't want it to!!! Generally not bad build quality but there are exceptions and quinny can be narky about repairs (especially as the buzz is not an all terrain buggy despite the air tyres)
Loola- Heavy, Heavy, Especially heavy to get up kerbs etc when seat is facing rearwards, not easy to handle one-handed, basket design is truely appalling. But it does fold with seat either way still attatched!

So if it has to be one of those then the loola, but if you can taer yourself away from them then check out the i-candy cherry, infinity etc there are other options!

tegan · 19/05/2007 19:41

I love the i-candy I think that would make my shortlist

freddiemed · 19/05/2007 19:52

I have the Loola, it isn't that heavy - although have a lightweight Maclaren now which we bought to go on holiday and it virtually lives in the boot of the car so I don't have to get the Loola in the car any more. Liked the Creatis car seat, didn't have the carrycot. The Loola is v substantial and my ds has been fine in it. I know a lot of people don't like them though.

chocolatemousse · 19/05/2007 22:56

It is going to spend most of its life in the car, as we don't have much room in the house. I fancied the air tyres of the Buzz - felt it would give some 'bounce' to the pushchair that we'd get with a bigger pram.

Loola again because it folds small. I think it has a little suspension too. Also liked the rear facing aspect of both, and wanted to have the option of attaching the car seat on the odd occasion.

What's the icandy like folded? The apple is quite bluky, isn't it?

The Apple's quite bulky, only slightly narrower than the Buzz and about the same length.

The icandy Cherry's not so bulky but doesn't have air tyres.

We also considered the M&P pramette but felt there wasn't a lot to it - not very sturdy?
