Low FSH in Blood Pregnancy Test - Am I pregnant??

Hi,
My last period started on 8th February, I've done 4 home pregnancy tests and 2 pregnancy tests at the doctors, all negative.
The doctor sent me for blood tests yesterday and said I needed to ring on Thursday for the results, the doctors called me today to say that I needed to go back to the hospital for another blood test as they came back with low FSH.
No-one has given me any indication as to whether this means I'm pregnant or not, has anyone else had this? Am I likely to be pregnant?
Any advice would be gratefully received!

I think a low FSH can be a reason for periods to stop, other than pregnancy. However I think you would need to have more tests before anything could be confirmed.
Sorry you are going through such a worrying time.

FSH isn't the 'pregnancy' hormone but possibly points to a hormonal issue if it is too low - FSH pumps into the follicles to 'ripen' and egg

FSH has nothing to do with pregnancy. It stands for Follicle Stimulating Hormone and is the hormone that ripens an egg ready for release at ovulation

FSH should be low at the beginning of your cycle (usually measured between days 2-4) and then increases to ripen the egg

Do you know if they tested your luteinising hormone (LH) too and what both results were?

I didn’t see the doctor today, the receptionist phoned to say I needed to go back for another blood test and I had to pick up a blood form from them before going to hospital.

On the form it said:
LH & FSH (Gonadotropins)(=Amenorrhoea)
FSH slightly low last time - repeat

That’s it...
I’m hoping I get to speak or make an appointment with the doctor when these next results come in.
