Last year we tested ten of the UK's best changing bags, chosen from weeks of research including reading the Mumsnet boards. After putting each bag to the test, our three winners were crowned and reviewed on the Reviews Hub; you can read them here.

This year, we're retesting our winners against a whole new range of options -- and we'd like to hear from you. If you've bought and loved a changing bag in the last two years, we want to hear about it! Tell us which bag you loved and why you loved it. Your comments will help us to establish which bags to test to find the ultimate changing bag.

I love my Pacapod Portland - having the separate pouches is so useful, and it’s just big enough to carry everything I need for a day out with twins. Can’t imagine getting through without it!

I’ve gone through 8 different changing bags, and my top favourite is a normal navy backpack that I got from Tesco’s or somewhere.

Just buy one of the folding changing mats (from skip hop or jojomamanbebe etc) and stick that and whatever else you need in a normal bag.

You really don’t need a special bag, it’s just another way to waste money and resources.

We bought a big grey one from Tesco, it's brilliant but I'm trading it for a normal messenger style bag that's slightly smaller as 2nd baby I know we don't need to bring the entire houses contents with us when we go out Grin

I do agree with PalePinkSwan, you don't really need a special bag, they're all so overpriced!

I have a mayoral one it has lots of space inside and two compartments for nappies/wipes plus the actual inside of the bag is spacious too, outside it has a popper section to put bits in too, it is water proof & lined. It comes in neutral colours cream pink blue. You can carry it on shoulder or attach to pram (full handled ones) not strollers unless you used shoulder strap.

Best changing bag I have brought and is definitely holding strong.

Pretty but practical!

We got one with our silver cross pram and I love it but second baby here so backpack it is.

We got the silver cross one that matched our pioneer pram. It's a lovely bag except the zip on the top, and it's not that long which can make it hard to put things in and take them out.

Third child and third Pink Lining/Yummy mummy bag. They’re perfect

I really really wanted a lovely changing bag but once I'd got one I realised that a bog standard rucksack with pockets inside and outside is much better - particularly if you use a sling. If you want an insulated container for feeds or snacks, you can buy an insulated bottle sleeve or insulated lunch bag/box to go inside. Changing bags generally just seem to be unnecessarily heavy and awkward.

Bababing daytripper - two insulated pockets included one is removable, easy strap for cross body/over shoulder. long zip on top so can open it easily when fastened on pram and multiple pockets to keep stuff separately (plus good changing mat in easy acccesible pocket). also like that it comes with pram hanging straps so can Velcro onto the handle and easily remove :)

keeppassingtheopenwindows1 · 15/05/2018 11:21

We got a skip hop backpack
In pink. It looks great, is really practical and is ethical. I love it and it easily accommodates our three year old and six month old

Silver Cross one was shit seem at the back where the strap attaches to burst after less than 4 months.

hoopyloop2016 · 19/05/2018 21:32

Pink linning bag is the best change bag I have had. Irthad books so I can hook it on the pram. It fits in the basket perfectly. Its sting loads of space comes with key clip mirror change may and wet back I am a mum of 4. My youngest 7 months. 1st time I spent more then 39.99 on a bag but so glad I did.

Parker231 · 19/05/2018 21:34

The branded bags aren’t worth their money - you’re just paying for a name and marketing. Best buying a regular rucksack with the number of pockets and size you want.

I love this one
www.etsy.com/ie/listing/75837910/teal-zipper-messenger-bag-canvas?ref=related-6
It has lots of compartments and a handy clip for your keys (no more digging around for them). It goes cross body which makes a lot handier when pushing buggy. It is machine washable and good quality. It doesn't look like a changing bag/ is somewhat fashionable.
