Hello
Just wondering if anyone else had this. I seem to have a headache most days now, and most days need to take at least 2 paracetamol. mw said not to worry but still am a bit concerned.

I have had nasty headaches, yes...I found that silly things like tying my hair back or wearing sunglasses (I live in Italy, and it's hot here) made them worse. Pressure on the skull and hairline, perhaps.

But headaches can also stem from neck problems, even if the pain is at the front. (Mine were behind my eyes). What really sorted me out was finding a cranial osteopath who very very gently cradled my head and neck from behind and without any of that terrifying wrenching or clicking just seemed to ease little bones back into place. Felt amazing. Just one session and no headaches since...

I can fully empathise with you. I suffered from severe headaches with both pregnancies at the end of the first trimester and into the second. For me they suddenly went around 18 weeks...so hopefully you will only have a short while left! I got my husband to give me a head, face and neck massage (I did a massage course years ago and had shown him how to do it) and that really helped. I would recommend massages and I am also a strong believer in osteopathy (although never had cranial osteopathy myself, I used it for DS) but they wont be able to fully manipulate your spine, so cranial osteopathy is probably a good bet, as Tallis suggests.

I REALLY hope the headaches go and you can start enjoying your pregnancy Pheebe. Let me know how it goes...(just in case I decide to have a third).

Are you drinking enough water Pheebe? Probably too obvious, but you're using so much energy up in making that bubba, it can be easy not to get proper nutrition and hydration.

thanks everyone

i may try an osteopath although I don't have much faith in them I was treated by an osteopath for a back problem for 2 years that turned out to be gallstones, had my gallbladder removed and had no problems since. Looking back all the symptoms were there and still think she should have picked up on it.

Will look into the cranial option anyway.

Midnight you may be right about the water thing to, I don't think I am getting enough and I seem to be craving salt all the time although bp is fine.

Thanks again for your help
