Blisters on toes - pregnancy related?

I've noticed a load of wee blisters or spots on my toes this week and my toes are especially itchy at night. I'm 35 weeks pregnant. I wear the same shoes most days as they help my pelvic pain so I'm not sure if they are just rubbing.
Is it something I need to be concerned about? I'm planning on going barefoot or wearing open sandals this weekend to make sure it's not the shoes...

I know your feet can grow/spread in pregnancy so it may be that shoes that used to fit well are rubbing slightly. I've not heard of blisters being a cause for concern but will wait and see what others have to say!

Are u sure it's not athletes foot starting?? I'm almost 33 weeks, due to spd was wearing same shoes to work with tights and my toes but also heel drives me mad of a night time. I get relief with putting my foot in hot water with tea tree oil each night then drying and applying baby powder.

It sounds like chillblains. I get them and it is horrible

Sounds like chilblains to me

I only really heard of chilblains from being told not to wear socks to bed when I was young. Is there any way to prevent them or ease them?
Had my toes out all day and thought they were easing, but now they are getting itchy again.

I know itchy bumps can be a cause for concern, so I was just a bit worried that other itchiness could have been an issue. But I'd also like it to stop driving me insane!

I think it is itchyness allover the body that would be cause for concern. I have read chillblains are caused by any changes in temp, I have had them since I was a kid and only just figured out what they are.

I’m 37 weeks and have had the same issue...perfectly comfy shoes are now unwearable.
For me the small blisters have gone a bit further up my leg where the seams of my jeans sit and look like heat rash - small red spots/blisters that itch like mad, especially overnight. They are all over my feet and lower legs at the mo.
I’ve been refrigerating Aloe Vera gel and putting on the rash which seems to help. Even though it seems contradictory I’ve been more comfy wearing more socks or leggings over it as it stops anything rubbing against it (and me itching it!).

Look up pics of dishydrotic eczema - sounds like it could be this, in which case a mild topical steroid can help, but you may have to go to your GP to get it as pharmacy will not be keen to give over the counter in pregnancy. Caveat to this being that if itching becomes any more widespread than just the blistery areas on your toes then may be worth a chat to your midwife to exclude more significant pregnancy related complications.
