Anyone have a transverse baby at 35 weeks?
Baby has been breech or transverse for ages but had a growth scan 10 days ago and they had moved head down
Yippee I thought
At midwife app today baby is transverse again 😭
I'm 35 weeks and 2 days
Bump is also measuring 27.5cm which according to dr google is really small for 35 weeks??
Growth scan was fine tho
Midwife did say small bump is likely to be because of the positioning!

Anyway, any experience of transverse babies appreciated!! What happened etc?
Next midwife app is in two weeks! Hope baby moves by then, any tips?

@user1499786242 my first born was transverse in the last few weeks. Then I went into labour at 10 days overdue, and it was a back to back labour, requiring ventouse delivery after protected 2nd stage labour. It only went wrong because I refused epidural, having no experience of back to back or what to expect. No one told me he had moved that way until I was in labour.

Going swimming and doing aqua natal exercises were advised to move him from transverse, not sure if it worked, but he wasn't transverse in the end. Good luck X

He turned! I just wanted to share my happiness. My pelvis is absolutely destroyed now he’s nestling down and I can barely move, but I’m so grateful.
I’ve not sat on my sofa or a comfy chair for a week now, instead opted for my pregnancy ball and the open legged/knees up/ sat forward on the bed position... but it worked. I also stood around a lot with legs slightly apart and rested my pelvis/hips gently and rocked back and forth.
I also tried the spinning babies upside down thing.
I have no idea what worked but something has. I went in today to be admitted and they ran a quick presentation scan and he’s heads down. I cried with happiness because I could go home!

I hope your little human turns!

Omg that's amazing!!!!! I'm so pleased for you!!!!
I have such severe spd I can't even move/walk/stand for long
So I'm limited in what I can do to encourage my baby to move :(
I am going to try my best tho, maybe do the upside down sofa thing as it's only quick isn't it? For a few seconds so shouldn't cause me too much pain!

I've been so anxious about it all, arranged a midwife app for Thursday so check position!
Trying to stay off google as it's not good for my worrying!!

Hope everything goes smoothly for you now :) xx

I have SPD too but thankfully I had a pretty good week of it, which definitely helped. The last couple of days have been awful and honestly unsure how well I could have done if I was like this last week! If you do the sofa thing make sure you have somebody with you because that was (for me at least) the hardest one to do... and it felt like 9000 gallons of blood rushed to my head as soon as I did it! Lol
Have you tried a pregnancy ball? (about 10£ from amazon) it might be a gentle way of helping baby down if you have SPD. It still felt like my pelvis was burning but sitting in the leg opened position on a soft surface is nice at the same time Flowers x
