Baby is a right wriggler!

Have been feeling lots of little flutters these last few days. How much is too much?

I know I DEFINITELY feel them (they’re happening right now) but it’s happening twice a day for a good hour and the stopping and then starting again.

I’m in no way complaining as it’s a wonderful feeling just wondering if I’m going to have an active baby!

Hi, I think I remember you from previous threads. Are you about 19 weeks now, the same as me?
I've been feeling lots of movements over the past week. I just find it very reassuring Smile When the midwife listened to the baby's heartbeat last week, baby was wriggling around a lot and the midwife wasn't concerned at all.
I wouldn't worry!

I think it's a good sign but yes, could cause trouble with nappy changing for example Grin I had a scan on Monday morning at 16 weeks and baby would not stop wriggling and twirling around. My notes say 'very active baby' lol Grin

How often you feel them in the womb has absolutely zero relation to how active they are once born.

Your body size, your height, placenta position, baby's position all have an impact on how often you feel him.

We were warned at our 12 week scan by the sonographer that we had a very active baby in there! In 40+2 now and she definitely wasn't wrong. There are some days when he kicked/wiggled/rolled/danced around from the moment I woke up until I eventually went to sleep and some days where he was slightly quieter!
As he got bigger so did the movements and now he's run out of space the movements are smaller but the same frequency!
Lots of movement isn't a bad thing you just need to find what your normal is.
I'm hoping it doesn't reflect what they will be like when they're out or we are going to have our hands full Confused

My baby was spring-boarding off the walls of my womb at our 12-week scan! She was extremely wriggly at the 20-week scan also. I found it reassuring to feel her move so much. She is now 6 months old and still never bloody sits still!

No such thing as too much :) It might get a bit annoying later on mind you!

My baby as horrible as it sounds does not leave me alone !!😂😂
Constant moving but atleast as I'm only 21 weeks on Monday gives me some reassurance ! X
A moving baby is a lot better then one that doesn't !
Also I had a lazy baby last time with movements constantly being checked over and he is the worlds biggest fidget ever !

@feelinggoodinspring yes 19 weeks today Smile Baby has been moving around all day and the fluttering gets stronger.

It is lovely and very reassuring

I'm 37 weeks now and the baby moves ALL the time most days! I'm wondering when she finds the time to sleep!! She had days like this from 24 weeks onwards. It's just more noticeable now she's bigger. Feels like she's gonna burst through haha Smile
