Baby boy nurseries

Show me your baby boy nurseries/ideas! Need some inspiration. Will probably keep it quite classic with white furniture and baby blue and neutral colours.

Also are you going for carpet or laminate flooring? I know some people hate laminate anyway but we have it downstairs so obviously like it. Thinking carpet would be more cosy and safer for falls etc but thinking about the sick/poo/wee thats gonna end up on it.....

We've got white furniture, a very light blue wall and very light yellow. He's 18 months now so will be looking to change it to something more boyish soon. We also have carpet but if anything ever goes on our carpets just a wipe with a damp cloth seems to do the job. We found the wee went down the wall more with a boy as his changing unit was against the wall. As soon as the nappy opens they pee lol

We don’t know what we are having so no blue/pink but we’ve gone for carpet. One of those man made polypropylene, bleachable ones in a brown colour.
Neutral walls so should look good when finished!

We had laminate in DDs room when she was a baby and it was a bloody god send.
We found that even for a girl, baby blue works really well as a colour. Easy to change the theme of the room without re-painting if you see what I mean.
Over the years she's had a "clouds", Toy Story, Thomas the Tank Engine, Peter Rabbit and Frozen themed room, all of which worked with the colour! Just a change of bedcovers/curtain/lampshade each time.

We have carpet, the nursery is technically my DS's room at the moment (we're doing him a new bedroom so we can re-use the nursery for DC2) which has been a godsend for DS - it was brilliant for crawling/falling on when he was tiny. Now he's bigger I don't worry so much about him falling out of bed because the carpet is super thick.

We bought a huge cheap rug and pulled it up to his bed, so if he's sick I take the rug out and clean it up outside the room after we've cleaned/settled DS.
