Hi all!

I posted back in feb looking for advice after a miscarriage, I found out at 8w 1d my baby had stopped growing at 5w 3d.

Fast forward 2 months and I should be 5w 1d pregnant today. I had really strong symptoms very early on like sore breasts, very nauseous, extremely tiered, always hungry and running to the loo every 5 mins so I did a FRER test 4 days early and it was a strong positive, did another test a day after af was due and again got a BFP and all symptoms were still there.

Over the last week, one by one my symptoms have vanished except sore breasts.

@MrsCrumbtious Hi, do you feel any better today? Mr C is probably right in what he’s saying, I’m glad to hear you have someone so supportive and positive, it makes such a difference. I can remember the nurse telling me last time that without pain, including in the shoulders, bleeding or heavy sickness the chances of a problem are something like less than 2%. Try to stay positive and I hope little bean is just fine. I can imagine the next 5 days will drag on for you but the scan hopefully will give you some reassurance. Fingers crossed for us all to start feeling some positive signs soon!

I had no symptoms except slightly bigger breasts. I am now 22 weeks pregnant and my only symptoms are the said breasts and cramps in my legs at night. Hardly have a bump either! Absence of symptoms does not mean problems, nor absence of bump for that matter! Smile

Just wanted to say my symptoms started with gusto at around 5 weeks, very sore boobs very nauseas etc. At 7.5 weeks I has a couple of days feeling normal (no pregnancy symptoms) and freaked out. Paid for private scan - foetus 100% fine. Just a flickering little blob with yolk sack at that stage. 4.5 mo dd currently asleep on my lap !!

Hormones/symptoms come and go in waves, IME.

Hey @mommabear101 thanks for the love. Still feeling the same (symptomless other than larger baps and quite hungry maybe the change in weather?) hope you’re ok? Those statistics have made me feel a bit better, hoping my peanut is too comfy to make itself known yet ❤️

Mommabear101 · 24/04/2018 22:48

@MrsCrumbtious ooh it could be the weather affecting your appetite or it could possibly be some of your symptoms coming back maybe? I’m ok-ish thanks, although still symptoms-less! I don’t know about you but I do feel better having read the above ladies stories. I think had I not have had a previous mc I don’t think I would be feeling this way, just super paranoid now as I’m around the same time as when the baby stopped growing. I’ve got it into my head now I’ve got to take I one day at a time, as far as I know, I was pregnant yesterday, I am today and hopefully I will be Tommorw is my motto until the scan Smile

I had my scan yesterday and everything is fine with baby. We saw it’s heart flickering away which was amazing and such a relief! No more worrying until the next scan lol!
Hope you’re ok?

Hollieb1987 · 30/04/2018 06:20

Yay! Oh I'm so happy for you! I've been checking this thread daily in the hope that everything would be ok. Time to relax and enjoy your pregnancy xx

Mommabear101 · 02/05/2018 19:59

Aww that’s fab news! Really pleased for you. Watching on the screen is just amazing isn’t it. I’m ok thanks, just the same as before really, my scan isn’t until the 11th and it can’t come quick enough. Doesn’t time drag on when for once you just want it to speed up 🙈 hope your getting on ok too Holliieb

I have my 12 week scan on the 9th May and the good news is I'm feeling a lot more awake and less sick. Hoping the next few weeks is the turning point with the horrible indigestion . @Mommabear101 have you got any symptoms yet? X

Mommabear101 · 05/05/2018 19:43

@Hollieb1987 aww glad your feeling better hun, yes hopefully the indigestion starts to calm down for you, I can’t imagine it’s much fun! I’ve absolutely no symptoms whatsoever now which is worrying me as I should be 7 weeks today, the only one that lingered a little bit was quite sore breasts but even that’s gone now 🤔
