Lightheaded I can't believe what's happening to my body moment!
I feel like as amazing as pregnancy is we were definitely undersold the wonderful combination of symptoms available.😂
Right now (forgetting the constant vomiting I had until 25 weeks), at 37+5 I'm sporting.
Nausea
Headaches
PGP
Cramps
A foot permenantly lodged in my rib
Back ache
Piles (!?!)
Heartburn
A pinched nerve under my left boob
An impressive UTI with which the antibiotics have given me a lovely case of thrush.
Also didn't realise how difficult getting out of bed or off the couch would be.

Not moaning it's more making me laugh at how much is changing every day. It'll all be worth it when my baby girl arrives in a few weeks :)

So hit me with some of the stuff you have now or didn't expect.

30 weeks pregnant with second child , definitely no glow, had none the first time either. Pgp, back ache, sciatica, sore boob, heartburn, tiredness due to extreme pain... No wonder men can't manage this... I curse those women who's pregnancy seems to just flow by without problems!

Yep haha! 36 weeks with...

-Bleeding gums
-Carpel tunnel, so numb/tingly hands and fingers
-Have had nose bleeds (not too intense)
-Regular very sharp pains on my cervix or 'fanny daggers' as some say
-Very strong movements that make my whole body jump and squirm
-Baby's bum and feet jabbing my ribs!

Can't wait to meet this feisty lil lady Grin

The things I feel were undersold (for me) are:

The morning sickness which is not morning sickness at all but is all the time sickness/nausea.

The fact after the morning sickness went I still wanted to gag every time I brushed my teeth or tried to gargle.

The insomnia or difficulty staying asleep because of various other pregnancy-related issues such as pain and heartburn.

The heartburn/GERD type regurgitation and burning along with throat ulcers from the acid.

The snoring - I was not a snorer before!

The sheer size of my boobs and the weird colour change to them and my areolas/nipples. Plus, the leakage starting at around 28 weeks.

The nose bleeding and gums bleeding.

The sheer amount of food I seem to need to eat. It's so expensive!

P.S. For the first poo issue - take a couple of Movicol/Laxido at the same time and that should help.

Oh my gosh the boobs! 38 weeks today woke up my top was wet and I had all this dried white stuff on my boob 😂 that's a first.

Haha, it's so bizarre isn't it? Mine started with clear liquid and the one of them started off leaking this crazy yellow colour (colostrum?). I found it weirdly fascinating and gross all in one.

I forgot another TMI but the amount of discharge my underparts wish to secrete is pretty crazy. It's sort of reassuring as apparently meant to protect baby, but also really unpleasant and hard to deal with.
