Ive got ziplock bags made up of a sleepsuit, short sleeve vest and a nappy. Easy to grab that way. Also got newborn and first sizes just in case. No special going home outfit because i dont see the point tbh. Two hats, scratch mitts, dummies, extra nappies and a couple of boxes of premade bottles. Cardi and blanket for going home.

More or less bang on... if it's hot you want baba in socks & vest (hat & mitts)... if cooler the baby grows.. all depends on the weather x

Ah okay maybe I should pack some for this baby then :o I had no idea D'S was so unusual!

Bertie ds was the same, he never needs many bibs until weaning. I found them useful in the hospital though as when he was unwell we had to do formula top ups and that was a lot more messy than breastfeeding. He didn’t spit up much generally as he had silent reflux and couldn’t. I think next time I will take plenty bibs still just incase!

I'm expecting DC2 a few weeks after you OP.

This time I'm taking a few vests, a few babygrows a hat and a cardigan and a handful of nappies and some wipes.

Something to wear home for myself, some travel toiletries, painkillers, my make up bag, some snacks and drinks for afterwards and maternity pads, phone and phone charger.

If you end up having to stay in you can ask visitors to bring you anything you haven't got. I felt a bit silly with DD1 with a wheeled suitcase as if I was going away for 3 days and then being discharged the same day...
