Baby bottles

Hi I’m expecting my first baby in 3 months, just after some advice on bottle feeding.
I’m planning on breastfeeding exclusively for as long as I can however I want to express so that my partner can feed too.
Alternatively I want to be prepared if baby doesn’t latch on so I can’t breast feed, so my question is...
which bottles are best?
What steriliser should I get?
Thank you in advance x

Imho (I was a bottle mum') you are going to want to have an Anti Colic bottle such as MAM or Dr Brown and a basic set up like Milton bucket sterilizer.

We had a electric steam on first time round and this time we will have the Milton kit etc.

Simple is easiest.

I like Mam bottles, they seem easier to latch onto. With my older three I had a microwave steam steriliser, but it was inconvenient and too big for the microwave, so this time I use a milton cold water steriliser. It's so much easier.

I use tommee tippee bottles and their steriliser. Can't fault any of it.

I used Avent anti colic bottles first time round and will be using them again, they were brilliant. Also had the Avent microwave sterliser, only £15 and worked a dream last time so have bough exact same again!

Definitely mam self sterilizing bottles...so easy! I wouldn't get yet but if you do end up having to bottle feed (I did, preemie baby and I was ill so milk didn't come through :( ) I would highly recommend a perfect prep machine too

Personally I would say NUK but that’s because my baby had a tongue tie and couldn’t latch onto the tommee tippee ones I bought originally !!

I used MAM self sterilising bottles for all four of mine and intend on using them this time around too.

So easy, no need for any extra sterilisers or kit. Just a microwave. I do however have a Milton sterilising bucket on standby for travel/random toys/etc. So cheap and easy to use!

My fourth baby had tongue tie (which wasn't treated) and she had no issues whatsoever with latching on MAM bottles.

I bottle fed my twins, they weren't very good at it. We tried Tommee Tippee, Dr Browns, Avent, Phillips, NUK, and eventually settled with MAM.
See how you get on, Amazon next day delivery is your friend.
We used Tommee Tippee steriliser (fits 6 bottles) that came in starter kit with the bottles.
Wishing you all the best

I agree with NUK bottles. You can get latex teats rather than silicone which, in my instance (ds was bf but losing weight so had to combi feed) was a huge relief as they were more natural and it didn’t put him off the breast.
