My first pregnancy was the worst but my third was pretty easy and time just flew. But take it easy with feet swelling up if you're running around after the other two! Good luck hope it goes well xx

I had SPD in my third, didn’t have it with the other two. It was really bad, I had to crawl up the stairs on my hands and knees and I struggled to even roll over in bed. I’m hoping I avoid it if all goes well in this pregnancy...

Third was probably a little harder on my body but pretty easy to be honest. Very much like the second one, especially when it comes to the birth.

So far my third has been harder but only 16 weeks in and I've had plenty of resting time. If I avoid spd this time I'll be over joyed. We won't be trying again. But so excited at the same time for this one arrival

Mine was very much th same, although DS 3 weighed the most at 9lbs 1oz. Delivery was so much easier and better. It was quite quick and I had no pain relief, not even gas and air. Twenty minutes after it was all done, I was eating fish and chips.

So far this has been really enjoyable. 1st pregnancy was fine, no problems but I was 9 years younger. 2nd pregnancy was absolutely awful, I vowed never to do it again. And here I am pregnant with Dc3 Grin
I'm a bit more tired but have had hardly any symptoms. Have noticed baby bump is showing much more quickly though.

MaverickSnoopy · 11/04/2018 09:24

14 weeks with DC3 and mostly finding exhaustion the main killer. I think it's the combination of it being 7 years after my first pregnancy and having a school child and toddler to look after.

SPD MUCH worse this time (for context I was on crutches in last 2 pregnancies and fairly immobile) and this time I don't have the option to take it easy. By the end of each day I can't actually get up after eating dinner!

I'm 33 weeks with dc 3 and though I can't exactly remember with dc1, it is certainly much better than dc2. Thank goodness.

DramaAlpaca · 11/04/2018 10:43

I found it harder than my first two pregnancies tbh, sorry if that's not what you were hoping to hear!

The morning all day sickness was much worse and I was so much more tired because I was running around after two toddlers all day.

If it's any consolation though, the birth was by far the easiest & quickest of the three.

AuntieStella · 11/04/2018 10:45

SPD was worse.

And I looked pregnant about 5 minutes after peeing on a stick.

Addictedtohavingbabies · 11/04/2018 10:49

My third and fourth pregnancies were slightly worse than my first two. I had spotting and a lot more discomfort. I had Braxton Hicks from around 23 weeks which were quite painful and would come on suddenly and make me think I wouldn't go full term ( I did).
The midwife said after having a few pregnancies your pelvic floor is more slack and it was normal. Also had a weaker bladder during my last two pregnancies.

Zeeeee · 11/04/2018 11:28

I just feel so pregnant already 🤣 at 4 weeks

Oh I just remembered, after pains!

On your third they're pretty hardcore. Thought there must be another in there. 100x worse after your third child, have heard many others say that too. My midwife warned me and I was very blasé, who cares? It's all over by then anyway.

Think I had paracetamol and ibuprofen for about 4 days. This from someone who didn't have any drugs for the actual labour.

Still worth it though.
