Long story short... I'm due my 12 week scan in 3 weeks. My dad is my soulmate and best friend and I want to tell him about my pregnancy face to face. I know he's going to be over the moon and I want to witness the look in his eye when he finds out he's having his first grandchild (so excited!). Problem is, he's going away for a month in two weeks...
Do I risk telling him before the 12 week scan and something going wrong? I had a scan at 6 weeks and all fine, but I know anything could've happened between then and now. He is a GP however so he will understand this without me having to explain.
Do I not tell him and wait until I'm 15/16 weeks to tell everyone? (Going to be so hard and would like some support earlier than this).
Absolutely no way I can tell some family and not him. I couldn't do it.
What would you do?
