Brown blood and just passed a clot at 12 weeks....(picture) terrified

Hi everyone.

I've posted in here already but there's been a development that I'm not sure I should be scared or reassured by...

If you haven't read my previous post, I am 11+6 with my first child. I stood up from the sofa yesterday evening and felt a 'gush'. Checked down below and was horrified to find bright red blood! Sad I called my local maternity unit and have a scan booked for tomorrow morning.

The actual red bleeding only lasted around twenty minutes and, aside from the initial 'gush', was minimal and nowhere near enough to fill a pad. No pain, and still feeling nauseous with sore boobs.

I had no more bleeding overnight and throughout today have only had slight brown spotting when wiping. Nothing otherwise, and still no pain. However, just now I went to the loo and wiped to find that I'd passed a clot. It's very dark (almost black). I've attached a picture.

TMI, but due to iron tablets I've been quite constipated so was straining quite hard before I wiped. First wipe I was greeted by a fair bit of brown blood, and then second wipe was greeted by the aforementioned clot. If you compare it to my thumb it isn't very big, but I'm still terrified!

I'm still not in any pain, and once the clot had passed the brown blood stopped. Subsequent wipes were clean.

I dunno wether to be freaking out or not. I'm so scared Sad

Oh honey. Oh dear. Such awful news for you. Don't know what else to say but I am wishing you all the best I can and having a little cry for you too. Take care of yourself and be kind to yourself, you have had enough for the time being.

I'm sorry for your loss. Be kind to yourself and talk as much as you need to, even if it is a long way down the line.

I'm so so sorry. Don't expect anything of yourself not even crying - it's normal to feel numb and there's no one reaction to news like this. Be kind to yourself and let people around you support you. Really sorry x
