What is says on the tin, really. Mum mum had terrible morning sickness with all 3 of us, should I be expecting the same?

Not in my case. My mum and gran didn’t have morning sickness in any of their pregnancies. I’ve had HG in all 3 of mine. Not sure it’s related to propensity to vomit either, as I’ve never thrown up other than when pregnant!

My mum and both my sisters had no sickness, whereas I've had HG. I think they think I'm a bit of a wimp.

My mum had zero sickness with all 3 of us. I'm in 2nd pregnancy, only 6w2d and have been sick for one week already. 1st pregnancy the sickness lasted until around 12/13 weeks. This time around it feels more fierce. Ugh... I'm so miserable right now :(

My mum had nausea and vomiting for the first 4 months and I was the same! Don't think my grandmother did though!

Thanks everyone! Interesting to hear all your experiences.

Still early days for me, so nothing too much yet; I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I get lucky!

My mum had no morning sickness for all three of her children - nadda.

I spent 12 weeks throwing up continuously.
