Freaking out! I've been separating from my ex husband. Last time we had sex was about 5 months ago. I've been feeling baby like sensations in the stomachHmm im breastfeeding so Still no period. I just took the pregnancy test And There was faint line. Barely noticible but it was there! I'm so scared I don't want another baby. Is it possible to be far along and not know ? Is it possible for the line to be really faint at 5months . I'm obese so I big belly normally. Please help

I did - I requested if they can call if something gets available but I don't expect a call back. I can't afford a private scan unfortunately Sad. I was thinking about calling 111 to ask for advice but I feel like I'm panicking for nothing

Would it help to contact your maternity unit... I had a positive test last year plus symptoms.... nausea, sore breasts, swelling tummy etc and then I had a negative and it really messed my head up as I was due to have an mri scan 4 days later but I had to drink some meds for the test I had to have done too.

I went to my local family planning clinic plus I managed to get into see gp and have a blood test one the Monday (my scan was the wed). Luckily the bloods were negative.

I think I had talked myself into feeling it! Not sure if anyone else has had this feeling.

Could you get a clear blue test with weeks you could be

Ratbagratty · 05/04/2018 14:56

I found out I was pregnant at 30 weeks, it was very clear on the sticks. Could it be stress? Try and get an emergency appointment with gp.

YerAWizardHarry · 05/04/2018 14:58

I found out I was pregnant at 24 weeks definitely possible especially if your placenta is at the front

Ubercornsdiscoball · 05/04/2018 15:00

Make a GP appointment for whenever that is and maybe use proper contraception in future Hmm

Is there a family planning clinic near you? You can check on their website

Have you used a frer with fmu? Or after a long urine hold and no drinks?

I've found a couple of offers on Groupon for £39 if that's doable? X

Can you ask for one of the GP's to phone you and then explain the situation to them. They maybe able to just leave you forms to get your bloods done at reception or book you in for a scan.

CobaltRose · 05/04/2018 16:02

@Ubercornsdiscoball, OP wasn't asking for a lecture or opinions on her choice of contraceptive. Totally unnecessary. Plus, no form of contraception is 100% effective.

Ubercornsdiscoball · 05/04/2018 16:25

I know they weden’t But the place is full of people unsure if they are pregnant because they haven’t used a more reliable form of contraception. If you and the person you’re having sex with don’t want a baby then take some responsibility for preventing it! Just maybe then they wouldn’t be in this position using up nhs resources

AmazingGrace16 · 06/04/2018 14:36

How are you today op?

emelsie · 06/04/2018 21:19

Fwiw I took a pregnancy test when I was 6 months pregnant ( long story , I was teenager in denial , forced by my mum to take it) and it was a very dark visible line, so not sure how much the hook effect (lower hcg) actually effects the line on a pregnancy test, think there is still enough hormone to show clearly. Try another test and then if still in doubt see the doctor! X

Lovelyivy · 16/06/2018 16:16
