7+4 and feeling unwell...

First time mummy here. Been pregnant before a couple of times but never got past 5 weeks due to miscarriages. I'm 7+4 at the moment, and whilst I'm ecstatic to be pregnant and have made it this far, I feel so unwell! Constant nausea, can hardly keep my eyes open, gagging even when I think about food, throwing up 4/5 times a day, can't get warm and feel like I've got the chills (temperature fine), a permanent dull headache, pulling pains in my groin. I know this is all normal and most are probably thinking 'been there, done that, get on with it', however I really need some help getting through this next few weeks as I feel like I'm going to fall apart. Is this all normal? Any tips on how to feel slightly more human?

I’m the same Op, 7+0
It’s so awful. I’ve phoned in sick and stayed in bed all day. Feel a bit better having some rest.

Absolutely normal, I’m afraid. All good signs though.
I just found what helped the most with my nausea and stuck to that.
I’m finding 3rd tri hardest, horrible tummy pains due to my job, back ache and tiredness like I’ve never felt. But will all be worth it. Smile

I hated being pregnant ☹️

I hated MS. I am starting to feel (touch wood) slightly better and less nauseous and I am now 12 weeks. I am just praying that it isnt going to make a comeback!

It's flipping awful at that stage. I had the same with both mine and so glad to be done. The only thing that made me feel better (apart from polo mints and crisps!) was thinking about all the lovely strong pregnancy hormones that were causing it. Best of luck Thanks

I had to go to the doctor to get meds in the end. Drink plenty, limit your sugar in take (that seemed to really help- no highs or lows) eat what you can when You can. Cold food, don’t be in the kitchen when cooking is happening! Good luck! I’m still going through this but at 11 weeks! It’s really gross! X

I’m 7+5 and apart from throwing up, I could have written your post today. Have been feeling mostly ok until this week and today has been the worst, I can liken it to a really bad hangover! No advice though, sorry.

Thank you so much for your responses. And many congrats to you too Thanks

Isn't it just amazing that so many women go through this. Our friends, colleagues, family members etc, but nobody seems to tell you how awful the first trimester is! I had absolutely no idea of any symptoms other than morning sickness until I started experiencing them myself.

Thanks a bunch for the tips and it's good to know this is all normal. I could sleep for weeks...
