I already have a little boy but its been nearly 6 years since last pregnant. The pains are still there throughout the day and when I change position. Paracetamol just doesn't even touch it and I constantly have a sickly feeling but not being sick. If anyone can give me advice would be much appreciated thankyou.

Labour?
I had 6 years between my children and on my second was doubled over reading internet articles to see if this was labour. It was! Dc#2 was born 6 hours later and 2 weeks early! Good luck!

Yeah I have read a few articles on here and people have said could be signs of early labour, am hoping so as can't take the pains anymore they are getting worse as the days go by!

Thank you Smile

Contact your midwife, today!

Constant pain isn't good for you, it raises your blood pressure which as we all know is heavily monitored in pregnancy. Also it's just miserable for you, your midwife may be able to offer different pain meds, or even a sweep to get things moving.

I was on high dose cocodamol during my pregnancy for a preexisting condition. I had to ration myself during the final trimester, but on bad days I was still taking 60mg of codine in a day and my gynea was happy with that as managing the pain was more important he said.
I only tell you this to reassure you if they do offer stronger meds.

But I beg you to call your midwife and be brutally honest, don't sugar coat it, and don't worry if you sob at her. They need to know how you really feel.

Good luck and all the very very best, I hope it's labour and it's over soon.
