What movements at 35 weeks?

I'm 35+4 and just wondering what movements those of you at a similar point in pregnancy tend to feel?

Big movements and kicks? Or rolls? Or just an occasional bum/foot sticking out?

Baby seems to have slowed down and I'm just wondering what's normal to feel as they start running out of room.

I've also had quite a few BH today, don't know if it would be linked?

Any reduction in movement, call your maternity triage department. It's a myth that baby runs out of room. I'm 33 weeks and movements are low down and tend to feel like waves but I know he's head down and facing my spine. Have a cold drink (sugary if you can take it) and lie on your side. That's what triage told me to do and if you still have no movement get in to hospital. Sure it's all fine but better to be checked out.

I've been puzzled at times too. I'm 33 weeks and can see a pattern to baby's movements- active, lazy and sleeping.

I feel sweeps of knees and feet and hands across the inside. Rolling movements and sometimes some wriggles. Occasionally more of an active kick - when smaller it was the active kicks I felt which is thy I get confused. Baby pushes in a stretch quite a bit.

My cervix and bladder definitely get a poke more now.

At a scan recently there was lots of movement I simply couldnt feel however every single hcp I met really emphasised getting checked if any doubt of changes.

It's now "kicks count" not count the kicks. Not loading well on my phone but the main info was there

I can't feel anything if I get BH. I can get quite a few if rushing about or need a wee (and rushing about). But it shouldn't be the reason why movements should reduce if that makes sense?

Mine wasn't kicks it was more rolling around the 35 week mark, sometimes I could see my belly move but not actually feel it and lots of hiccups.
He would go mad for a day and barely move the next, there was no pattern which stressed me out! I didn't feel him move for 6 hours one day, I rang the labour ward and they just told me to have a snack, have a big cold drink & lay on my left side for two hours. If I still didn't feel anything then to give them a call back. He eventually started moving again 10 minutes before the 2 hours was up but it took a McDonald's to get him going.

Oh constant hiccups here. But my first didn't.
