Clear blue digital still at 'pregnant 1-2' at 5 weeks 3 days?

Hi,

I know I'll be told to step away from the tests but curiosity got the better of me and I took a CBD after holding my wee for a couple of hours this morning.

Should it not be 'pregnant 2-3G' by now? Not frantically worried - just a bit concerned.

I really do feel for you it's such a scary time, I had 4 blood tests, 26 HPTs and 11 scans for my last pregnancy and all turned out fine. I did have faint tests early on and it was an IVF pregnancy after 5 cycles so was mega paranoid, the pregnancy before that I had faint tests and low level HCGs and that pregnancy made it to 8.5weeks and was a MMC in the end. I will keep everything crossed

My husband is on a flight home at the moment but I managed to tell him this morning and he wasn't worried but then he has limited knowledge on these things! Think I'm going to book private HCG tests just so I know which direction it's heading in. I'd just rather be prepared if it's not the one we hope it is. Really appreciate all the replies x

It took me til nearly 7 weeks to get a 3+ on a digi with this pregnancy - I was over 5w and still getting 1-2, then over 6w and got 2-3. Have had previous MCs so was massively anxious and convinced it would all end badly. Am now 35 weeks! It’s not always bad news, good luck OP.

I’m in the same limbo at the moment op.

I should be 6.5 weeks but cb digital didn’t go up to 3+ on schedule (stuck on 2-3 for the 10 days I used them for).

I had a private scan yesterday that was inconclusive. Pregnancy measured around 5.5 weeks and no HB or fetal pole. The sonographer said I may catch up or may not- it can go either way. I’m very sure of my dates.

I hope the outcome for you is positive. The waiting isn’t nice, I know.

@SaturdaySauv sorry to hear you are in the same boat (the one that moves impossibly slowly towards anything conclusive!) I have read about lots of people who have gone for a scan at 5.5 weeks and seen nothing or just the gestational sac but then gone back a week or so later to find a heartbeat and all has been well. The waiting is a killer though. Not fun. My frer gave a strong positive yesterday morning so I'm holding onto the hope that the CBD tests are just rubbish. I didn't track my ovulation so I could have ovulated later than I thought. Hope you have a positive outcome. Keep me posted (if you feel like it.)

Just a quick update - got '2-3' on a CBD this morning which is just about correct in that I am 5 +6 today so may have just implanted later than I thought. We'll see how it goes but feeling a bit more positive today . Hope anyone else who is silly like me and continues to do these tests gets the result they want!

Argh 5 weeks today and still not got 2-3 weeks on clear blue. Still a definite line (not super dark though?!) on a frer so not panicking yet but I feel like it should have changed by now! Oh whyyyy did I test?!!!
I have googled it obviously and loads of people saying cbs aren't as reliable as they should be and it took longer than it should have to change etc etc so it can happen but it's still a bit worrying
I am feeling more and more sick and bloated every day so just going to hold on to that I guess?

I'm 6 weeks tomorrow, yesterday I took a cb it said 2-3 which lines up, today I tested mid day a couple times and it said 1-2.

anyone have that?

In this point in my last pregnancy, I was reading 2-3 on those tests.

I thought I’d just update this seven years on as I only just noticed I was ‘on’ this thread. Sadly that pregnancy didn’t end with a baby. I’m not sure what the right term for it was but it was just a sac when I went for my private scan at 7 weeks and then I started bleeding and miscarried. We did go on to have a beautiful daughter though and she is adored by us and her big sisters - and younger brother!
