When did everyone’s morning sickness disappear?

Hi all.

12+3 today and I’m feeling pretty good! Everything that would normally make me feel sick isn’t. I still feel slightly nauseous but nothing like I have been. I want to be happy about it but I’m slightly worried!

Mine started to improve a lot at 10 weeks. I still suffered up until week 20, but I was able to return to work and go about my daily tasks much more easily. I'm in my third trimester now and have started feeling queasy again in the mornings bit it's not as bad as it was.

LoislovesStewie · 16/03/2018 14:49

After the birth! I had all day all pregnancy sickness.

Namechangedwindy · 16/03/2018 15:14

36 weeks. I delivered at 36 weeks ! Was sick right through labour and for a couple of hours after giving birth. Had hyperemesis though. They usually say 12 or 16 weeks but unfortunately they passed by and I was still vomitting badly

When I gave birth Sad

Passthecake30 · 16/03/2018 15:23

Started decreasing around 13weeks, gone by 16.

I feel like very few people have actually addressed OP's point here, and so have probably panicked her! Feeling better at 12ish weeks is really common - indeed, it's 'textbook' - and so nothing at all to worry about. As you can see from this thread, some women unfortunately and unluckily do continue feeling ill long after that, but it's not always/usually the case.

Fakingit36 · 16/03/2018 15:28

Agree with poster above. Those of us who were more textbook think/talk about it less so there’s selection bias. I was lucky enough to find relief around 12, completely gone by 16.

PlumsGalore · 16/03/2018 18:13

14 weeks

This is scaring me! 6+2 with my first and nausea most days. Fx it will subside soon....

Vagndidit · 16/03/2018 18:40

Mine got way worse just before it completely vanished one day (around 16 weeks)

tenforthat · 17/03/2018 06:17

With both of mine it disappeared completely around 16 weeks but started easing off around 13 weeks.

Youvegotafriendinme · 17/03/2018 06:33

About 20 weeks

DBoo · 17/03/2018 07:18

I started feeling much better around 10wks both times but had food aversions all the way through the first time. Particularly meat.

LoislovesStewie · 17/03/2018 07:37

Sorry, didn't mean to make you anxious, I know that I was in the minority by having all day all pregnancy sickness. I felt unusual at the time because I was that way and other people kept asking me why I was still puking. I realized that was just the way I was.

After my c-section

kirinm · 17/03/2018 09:03

15w and my exhaustion disappeared at the same time too. But I immediately became incredibly bloated and uncomfortable so haven't made it to a stage where I feel fantastic...yet!

startingtheengine · 17/03/2018 10:52

With DS it was 28 weeks. Currently 12+5 and feel awful. I'm hoping it doesn't last as long this time!
Even though it isn't nice, I find it strangely reassuring.
Hope everyone feels better soon.
