Hi. I'm about 4.5 weeks pregnant and today I got an electric shock from a hand blender. It was reasonably mild - no burns or anything - I just felt like my hand had been stung or bitten suddenly. Does anyone have any experience of this? I am quite upset.

@Panickingmum2be thank-you for your reassurance. Really kind of you. Let me know how you go if you feel up to it 🥰

@KellyAnnewithanE hey I wanted to keep you updated. I went in for my 7 week scan today and everything was fine and heart beating away. Fingers crossed everything stays that way!

Hello, couldn’t find reassuring testimonies on the french forums ...
please tell me your babies are all well.
I’m 2 weeks &5 days pregnant (4 weeks without periods) and I got an electrical shock touching the metal bar on the gaz hob and my washing machine I was cleaning.
had wet hands...
Felt the shock and the spasms in my hand and arm but didn’t feel it (I think in my body),
the baby is so tiny, we can’t even see the embryo so no point in having a scan.
but that’s just the reason why I’m afraid it is because it is not even formed totally so I’m thinking the most slightly shock could actually do a lot of harm ...
Had a non évolutive pregnancy 2 months ago... first one, and I’m going to be 39 this year ...
looking for some reassuring comments 😔thank you 🙏🏻
