Hi I'm 31 wks. I feel movements have changed to be less jerky and I think when I have a growth spurt I seem to feel less then baby catches up. Also depends which way baby is facing.

However - I'd always get movements checked.

I find Braxton hicks and doing lots means I don't feel baby as much but when I lie down and relax (and baby's awake) I do feel the bigger wiggles and occasionally kicks.

But, perhaps get checked to be safe.

If you’re ever concerned about movements you must go get monitored.
I’m just shy of 30 weeks and my baby had a REALLY lazy couple of days and now he’s rolling around like a crazy. He was lazy but I could still feel him moving occasionally

Any change of movements should be checked out at your nearest maternity unit. Babies shouldn't slow down as pregnancy progresses, despite what people may tell you.

I am 31 weeks and had exactly the same last week. Had been having lots of lovely, reassuring, big, defined movements for a while then nothing but occasional little internal 'pulses' for 2 days.

I got checked too (proper monitoring machine not just listening in) and all was fine. Baby was just being quiet and facing my back a bit. Same as tacky I think it goes a bit quiet during a growth spurt too.

It is worrying though isn't it? I hate calling the MLU feeling like an over anxious first time Mum who is worried about every little thing (I'm not really). But it's written everywhere to check in if there is a change in movement so you feel you should, just to make sure.
Am really glad to hear all is well with you and yours :)

Is this your first baby too? It's hard to know what's normal variation in movement and what is more serious. I have an anterior placenta too so a lot if the movement at the front is a bit muffled sadly.

Yeah this is my first Smile
