Had to delete my last post as typed 'anyone die in November' by accident (doughnut!). Can't imagine I'd have got too many responses 🤦🏽‍♀️

I'm 4 weeks pregnant, very bad sickness already, exploding boobies, terrified as first time mum, think every twinge is the start of a mc, don't know where to start with preparing for this, though also super excited and so is my other half.

Anyone else due in November 2018? And how are you feeling this early on? Congrats in advance!

Fidgety31 · 16/03/2018 10:17

@NurseB I am six weeks today and have really sore boobs and intermittent nausea and dizziness.
I have three boys aged 20, 16 and 8 - so I have forgotten what it’s like to be pregnant and have a baby !!
I never had these symptoms before though so got a feeling it may be a rougher pregnancy because I am older !
And yeah I still can’t get my head around being pregnant - I wasn’t ttc and was on contraception so it’s taking a while to sink in.

Katy16 · 16/03/2018 10:37

Just found out I'm 5 weeks pregnant with my first baby. I'm super excited but also very nervous something will go wrong. I've called my GP and they've booked me in with a midwife for 3 and a half weeks time and said they don't need to see me before then. Is that normal? I was kind of expecting them to give me loads of advise straight away and now feel a bit left on my own for the next few weeks with just Google to help and worrying over every little twinge. :S

NurseB · 16/03/2018 15:36

@Katy16 don't worry, they don't 'book you' until between 7-9 weeks apparently. I've opted for a private scan (£80 seems the average cost) just coz can't believe it! Just stay healthy, think positive thoughts and enjoy it! X

NurseB · 16/03/2018 15:38

@Fidgety31 I wish I had sore boobs and nausea (be careful what I wish for!). If I didn't do a test every day I'd have no idea! Think struggling to believe it coz feel so normal. Anybody else 'symptom free'??

Katy16 · 16/03/2018 16:03

@NurseB Thanks for your reassurance. I haven't really got any symptoms at the moment either. Only an ocassional sicky feeling at the back of my throat. I think we shouldn't wish for it though because I'm sure it will come!!

Poppy1984 · 16/03/2018 16:12

Eeek ladies so exciting! I'll be 6 weeks tomorrow. Still can't believe it. I'm trying to get a bit further before telling people- not sure why. I'm a bit upset as my hubby doesn't seem particularly bothered/excited but hoping that's just the shock... 😅
I feel nauseous in the mornings have super sore boobs. I'm constantly checking when I wipe (sorry TMI) x
I took x3 tests lol just to be sure...

Anyone else due in November?!
NurseB · 16/03/2018 17:08

@Poppy1984 congratulations! You're not alone.... I've probably done at least 20 tests now!!! Am sure hubby will be excited soon, it's a lot to take in! X

Poppy1984 · 16/03/2018 18:23

@NurseB I know it's a lot to take in. It is for us both! So exciting though. I would have liked to be 2 stone lighter though! Not happy I'm starting my pregnancy overweight 😓

Vandree · 16/03/2018 19:36

Tentatively joining you ladies, had a huge surprise that we are due our 4th on the 17th of november. I have PCOS, suffered miscarriages and overweight so didnt expect to fall pregnant at all (although I hoped). So its a brilliant surprise but after my miscarriage last year I am really finding it hard not to worry. Gotten into a habit of testing daily and checking each time i wipe like the op. My oldest will be 10 when baby arrives all going well. Sore boobs, headaches and slight cramping so far. The cramping has me constantly worried. I had gestational diabetes in all my previous pregnancies and amnt as thin as I would like so I am going to get a bollocking when I get to the diabetic clinic!

Poppy1984 · 17/03/2018 05:05

@Vandree welcome! I'm having period type cramps too... everything is worrying me at this point haha x x

Hufflepuffinalltheway · 17/03/2018 11:13

HI everyone!
I just found out im 4 weeks, due 21/11.
I had a early miscarriage in January so to say I’m crapping it is an understatement. Happy but terrified.

This baby will be DD2 and my son is 15 months.
Congratulations to you all!
xx

EmmaGa · 17/03/2018 11:36

Hello all. I am new here. Similar as jasmin93 - I am not from the UK (hubby is), so i do understand her frustration that NHS do not give early scans for everybody.
I am 4 weeks pregnant - first baby (due date around 23/11) I had fertility treatment, so you can imagine how stressful everything is.
I have weird sensation - like burning down there - anybody has that? So worried. Sometimes i do have that before my period start. So worried now.

MochiBean · 17/03/2018 12:30

@EmmaGa congrats! The burning may be a UTI (I got one at about 5 weeks), I'd tell a dr as they can test for that and give safe antibiotics if needed x

EmmaGa · 17/03/2018 16:48

what do you need to do that persons name appear in comments box? And then person receives email regardig comment?

EmmaGa · 17/03/2018 16:53

MochiBean- thanks. I have GP app. on Monday will ask to check that. My hubby read that some women burning senstion is a pregnancy sign

Vandree · 17/03/2018 19:53

How is everyone? Im sorry so many have had issues previously, its not easy at all. Im not a crampy lately but I have a huge craving for salt and vinegar which was the only thing I had with dd1 so I am taking that as a good sign. I could sleep for days though. I havent contacted the clinic or gp at all yet. Going to leave it a bit longer until I am sure things are sticking. I would love to get a private scan done soon but i am 5 weeks today and its still early, I am bricking it though and we are bringing the kids to florida in a month so the flight does worry me. Will be away with relatives so should be interesting keeping it quite from them lol.

Vandree · 17/03/2018 19:55

EmmaGa if the burning doesnt go away go to the gp. It could be a uti and you would be more susceptible to them in pregnancy. Would canestan help, there is one that can be used in pregnancy i am sure.

EmmaGa · 17/03/2018 21:14

Vandree Thanks will see what GP will say on Monday. Really worried

mondray · 17/03/2018 23:35

Hi. Hope it's ok that I'm joining you guys. I tested this morning with a bfp and am over the moon. A bit overwhelmed as I don't know what to do next. Should I book a GP appointment straight away or leave it for a few weeks? According to my calculations I should be 4+4 today and due 20/11.

Anyone else due in November?!
EmmaGa · 18/03/2018 06:35

@mondray Congrats GP will tell you to book with Midwife anyway - so I think you can go to GP now let them now and then choose your date when to see midwife.

Redrosebelle · 18/03/2018 06:38

I’m technically due 24November but I think they may move me earlier as I had a strong positive at 9dpo so pretty sure I implanted early.

NurseB · 23/03/2018 09:27

Hey November girls how are you all doing? I'm 5+5 today and this is the first day I feel just a bit nauseous... I don't want to feel sick but weirdly I do (if that makes sense!). Got early scan booked for next week - already petrified that there'll be nothing there Confused. Hope you're all doing ok - share your stories so we don't all feel alone?!!

Redrosebelle · 24/03/2018 07:30

Going my dates I am 4+6 but it feels like much longer as I think I found out at 9/10dpo!! I have my first scan when I am 6+6 and just want to see that lovely heart beat.
I have slight upset tummy, and nausea in the morning and last thing at night. Also if I wake in the night for a wee I feel very sick and dizzy!

Babydust18 · 25/03/2018 10:04

I’m 6 + 5 today due 12th Nov 😍 super excited but terrified at the same time. My midwife can’t see me until I’m 11+4 😩. We’ve booked in for an early scan in two weeks eeek can’t wait! 😊

EmmaGa · 25/03/2018 10:35

@Redrosebelle
My due date is 23/11 - closed to yours.
I went for early scan on Friday - 5 weeks (thought maybe i have ectopic) Well Gestation sac is in the womb so that's good. They could not see yolk sac yet - worried. Booked again for a scan in 2 weeks time
