It’s not that your questions are annoying, It’s that you are setting yourself up for a long pattern of anxiety, and you need to tackle that now. Please DON’T google. This level of stress isn’t good for you.

(Forgot to say, it had taken 20 months of TTC to get pregnant, which is why I couldn’t relax)!

Pepperoni and other cold cured meats can be eaten if cooked or if frozen for 3 or 4 days before eating. They would be fine on pizza

I was as anxious as you are when pregnant with my second as I had two miscarriages between my first and second DSs.

No amount of people telling me not to worry helped. At all. Anxiety can’t just be shoved to the side because someone on the internet told you to stop it, no matter how well meaning their intentions. Don’t feel bad or silly for being anxious and asking for reassurance. If it’s what you need, it’s what you need.

Enjoy eating as much pizza as you like for the rest of your pregnancy. I lived on margarita pizzas during my last pregnancy. Avoided meat ones though.

The same as vodka I avoided meat pizzas as it’s impossible to know how the take away cooked/stored the meats. I’m sure most done though but I was just to scared to take the risk and it helped I’m not really keen on cold cuts anyhow!

most fine through

If you're feeling this level of anxiety over safe day to day foods it would be worth speaking to a GP or your midwife to see what support is available. I know from experience that nerves following miscarriage is normal but worrying about orange juice and industrially manufactured mayonnaise is verging on obsessive anxiety. Having strategies to help with this will help the rest of your pregnancy feel a lot less stressful.

Read "Expecting Better" by Emily Oster. It explains the myths around food in pregnancy.

I LOVE dominos! I’ve eaten it throughout this pregnancy 11+6 and ate it throughout my pregnancy with DS

Enjoy Smile

(I am aware this post makes it seem like I live off dominos! I really don’t!)
