So I'm 17+3 with a little girl. Last nigt I started bleeding it started off as ligt spotting then turned to full on bleeding. I rushed to the ER and it was a 3 hours wait. Finally I got seen and they went to check my babies heart beat with a doppler. It took her forever to find babies heart beat and I honestly believed it would be bad news then luckily they found it. They said babies heart sounds good and sent me home. I am still bleeding a little but it has eased down just a few spots when I wipe. I am absolutely terrified of miscarriage and can't relax. Even though they heard babies heart beat I am still very anxious of loosing her.

I haven't got any advice but couldn't read and leave this post.
Fingers crossed everything is ok. Could you ring midwife for advice? X

Fingers and everything else crossed for you - and it may well be ok (my good friend had a terrifying pregnancy, bleeding continuously from 15 weeks until about 35 weeks, much of it spent on bed rest - but is now the proud mummy to a gorgeous and cheeky two year old). But with the best intentions, there is nothing you can do to alter the eventual outcome, apart from try not to worry and make sure you take it easy as much as you can (certainly for the next few days).

I'm really surprised they sent you home. I had bleeding at 17 weeks and again at 24 weeks, and both times I was seen straight away by the early pregnancy unit at my hospital and was thoroughly checked over and scanned. The good news is that everything has been fine and there was no explanation for the bleeding, so these things just do happen, as scary as that is. So try to not fear the worst but perhaps call your midwife or go back to hospital and ask for a scan?
