Hi,
I’m 36 weeks tomorrow, the finishing line is in sight, finally !!!
But I have just had the worse experience ever in work- tmi - but it felt like I had just weed myself, all it seemed to be was discharge, it just felt a lot more and more watery than usual... anyone else had this, or have any ideas what it is?
Don’t want to google incase it comes up with loads of different rubbish 🤦🏽‍♀️
Thank you

Might be worth calling your midwife just to check it wasn't your waters? Other thing it could be is your mucus plug (which your midwife would also want to know about) but mine wasn't watery 🤔

Spam88, I haven't had anything since, I might give her a ring as I have ridiculously bad back ache since.. Hoping it's nothing and just a pregnancy symptom

Always best to check, that's what they're there for :) I hope everything's ok

Could be your plug/your waters. Mine went at 36+4, just a dribble & i wasn't sure if I'd wet myself! I ended up being induced 24 hours later.

Put a pad on to see if there is anymore fluid over the next hour & ring the hospital - good luck!

Ah no way, didn't even realise back ache could be a sign...
Baby has been moving around more then normal so thought that might be the cause of back ache as it keeps coming and going depending on what the baby is doing.
I've been using a hot water bottle and changing positions, going for a walk and none of this is helping - argggghhh :(
Will phone midwife and see what she says

All my contractions with ds1 were in my lower central back. Do you have a gym ball? Maybe sit on that and wriggle around a bit. That can help with the pain. Keep us posted! :-)

Back labour feels just like that. Call your midwife straight away.
I didn’t realise I was in labour and left it until they were so regular. I delivered dd within half an hour of getting to the hospital

Especially record the twinges as they come and go. You might see a pattern fairly soon and if you do, your baby is coming

user1474652148 · 02/03/2018 15:35

Btw I called the midwife and told her about the back pain twinges and she told me to get in the bath, she didn’t think I was in labour as I was so calm on the phone! Don’t wait if they get worse

I think there's a chance it could be things starting off for you. My labours aways go:

Waters break - I'm never confident that I haven't just wet myself.

Contrations - start in my back and move forward to my tummy

Does the back ache come and go?
