So has anyone else got 2 of one sex and are really really wanting the opposite? I don't think I'm lucky enough and when people ask we say we're not bothered,but I secretly am,I would absolutely LOVE to give my other half a son! I'm 10+4 and look at Boys things all the time and clothes etc. I know people will say "long as it's healthy " which goes without saying just wondering if anyone else is really hoping xx

We have a little girl already and i plan to find out the sex of this baby next week. I am 99.9% sure its a girl. Nub is very very girly and i feel the same as i did with my DD. I will be EXTREMLY shocked if they say boy. As long as it is healthy we don't really mind as thats whats important but my OH and i would really like a boy. I'm getting them to write it on something so we can look later on. I think sometimes you just know x

It doesn’t really work like that! The sex of the baby is determined by the man’s sperm, not by luck.

Of course it's luck! You've got a (roughly) 50/50 chance whether the sperm that fertilises the egg carries an X or Y chromosome. Which way it goes is a question of luck!

My DH really wanted a boy next. We had a girl first and knew we would only have 2. We were lucky and did have a boy. I know we'd have loved another girl just as much as our first but we're so happy to have one of each.

@Brownbear84 it was amazing, shed a couple of tears... Tbh I still can't quite believe it... I was prepared for a girl, had a girl name picked purely because I just thought It's more than likely a girl. As we had a mmc last year I really didn't mind either way but it was amazing. Think positively 😁

So had my scan today 12 week,baby was an absolute monkey!!!! Was sat up! Had to have internal in the end as they couldn't get what they needed. Anyway,I was laid there looking at the screen and I thought it's a boy? Don't know why,I just think it's a boy? Wishful thinking maybe but it was a naughty one and I got an inkling. Hope I'm right xx
